I really wasn't in the mood to go to school when I woke up. There was a phone beside me, I looked at my reflection on its screen.
I was Shrivvy!
Ugh! I'm bored. I just wanna be myself! It was 7:00 so I was already late, I decided to stay home. I went out to see the family.
" Hey sweetie, you're still here? " asked me her mother as I got out of the room.
" Ya, I'm not really feeling well. I'm not going to school today. "
" Oh, okay. So stay here with your small brother, I'm gonna be out with your dad for the day. " she said.
I went to Shrivvy's room to look for something to do. She had this small stack of books beside her bed. I took the first book called " Anna dressed in blood " and started reading it out loud.
" Anna gazed at the creepy sky. It was of no hope. After a death like yesterday's, everyone was taken aback. Normal people called the dead person "president ", her mum called him husband, and Anna called him father! "
Ok, the beginning is a little creepy but I felt like completing it.
" For everyone knew Anna's father died from a disease in his blood, which made Anna even more terribly terrified! She sat quietly on her bedside beside her window till hearing the hooting owls nearby. It was already midnight and she couldn't sleep at all. "
I turned a few pages and completed reading but with a soft voice.
" Anna wasn't scared to die. After all, death was a part of life, and so she believed. Anna preferred to die honourably than to live uselessly. "
I liked the last sentence.
" Anna preferred to die honourably than to live uselessly. Anna preferred to die honourably than to live uselessly. " I repeated the sentence in my brain a couple more times then completed.
" her bedroom door cracked open and her mother entered with a cup of tea. ( Drink Anna, drink. This shall make you feel better! ) she said. Then she walked out of the room after a couple of comforting words. "
I felt a little bored so I turned to the exact middle of the book.
" Anna choked blood to death! She started spitting blood out of her mouth, yet, she didn't dare to budge! Her sister, Annabel on the other side, suffering with the same disease, gave her a smile of hope, that one day, she'd be the happiest girl alive, but it was seconds before Annabel said her last words:( You can do it Ann.. Just keep moving forward without turning to look back at the past.... ) then she took her last breath and..... Was Gone Forever! "
I was crying out loud now, tears covering my entire face. I have to say, I started liking the books Shrivvy read!
I shut the book and turned to the stack of DVD movies beside it. I picked the one we saw in the English class with Miss Dally; Dead body 2. But then I realised I haven't even watched part 1, so I sat till 4:00 pm watching the two parts. Wow! Guess what?! I actually ENJOYED them! I guess all I had to do was look at things differently!
Ooopsyy, I didn't even take notice about Shrivvy's brother, I ran to his room.
Hhhhhh..... He was still in bed! I heard Shrivvy say his name before. What wad it's? Um.. Andrew I guess!
" Andrew! Wake up it's four. Aren't you gonna get out of bed? "
" ..aaa..( snore, snore ) um.... Just wake me up when it's five, I have football practice. " he said.
At five, I woke him up and sent him to practice.
At night, I chew one of the sweets and went to bed.
