Everyday a person!

A very normal day

Two more weeks for my fifteenth birthday!!

" Linda, honey, you have to finish your breakfast! " my mum told me just like everyday.

" Mum, I can't, I'm gonna be late for school! " I said as I put my plate of cereal back in the kitchen.

I've been planning for my fifteenth birthday for a really long time. I was gonna make it just a normal beach party but then my friend, shirin, told me a lot of people made their parties at the beach. So I decided to make a really great party at my house since my parents would be off to visiting grandma.

" Can't wait for your party! " told me Eva as we walked to class.

" It's just two weeks ahead! " said Shirin.

" Look at all these athletes that waste their time jogging and stretching then come to school so sticky and sweaty!! " I said.

" And all these semi-criminals that can't stop getting into trouble! " said Eva.

" I can't believe the shopaholic fashionistas waste hours of their day polishing their nails and brushing their hair! " I said.

" Or that those nerds do nothing but studying! " said Shirin.

" Oh and those rock stars! I can't believe they like everything pierced! Their bellies, their ears, even their tongues and lips! " I said.

Then we noticed Miss Flavia was staring at us. " Linda! Your birthday is after two weeks! I thought I might be the first one to tell you happy birthday and give you this really delicious present! " said Miss Flavia.

Miss Flavia was known for her tricks that help students learn their lesson in life, but this didn't look like a trick to me, so I took the closed box and simply said: " Thank you! "

She smiled one of her weird smiles that said: I got you!

I went to my first class with Eva, math!

" Look at Miss Rachel's broken nails! " I told Eva.

" And her dry hair! " she said.

" Omg, and this belly! " I whispered to her.

" Stop talking! Miss Rachel is trying to tell us something important! " said one of the nerdy girls. Her name was Melina, but I personally liked to call her Nerdina!

" Ya, who told you that I take orders from a nerd like you?! I guess you really love your new name!! " I said. Everybody in the class started laughing including the teacher.

" Ok, now enough girls! We have to concentrate on our lesson! " said the Miss.

Nerdina blushed looking at the ground, her curly hair entirely covering her face.

At lunch, I always sit at the ( normals ) table. But there's a problem with it's location, right next to it is the weirdos table so we have to watch them put spaghetti in their noses, stick gum in their hair and all sort of disgusting things.

" Wonder when they're gonna start acting like people! " I said.

" Ya " said shirin.

When I came back home, I opened the ( delicious ) gift Miss Flavia gave me.

It was this kind of sweets that had a shape of a ball, each one had a different color.

Just as I was about to take one, my dad called me. So I put it back in the box, put the box above my closet and went to my dad.

" Ya dad! " I said.

" Honey, take your sister, Mona, and wash the car for me! " he said.

" Sure! "

Mona, my little sister, was eight years old, so all she could do was wait for me to clean the car with soap then wash it with water.

When I finished cleaning the car, my sister splashed the bucket of water on the car before I got down. So I ended up all soapy and slippery!

" Mona!!! " I shouted. " Use your eyes! They're not on your face for decoration! Couldn't you wait till I get down?! " I asked.

" You always blame ME!!! Nobody told you to be so slow in getting down! " she said.

" Take the towel! You're going to wipe the whole car until I take my shower! " I said.
