Y/n's POV
Today's the day we've been dreading. Court for the kids. I was woken up by noise coming from the bathroom. Was someone, throwing up? I pushed the comforter off my legs and slowly walked to the bathroom. I knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open to see Jensen hunched over the toilet. "Babe you okay?" I asked, leaning against the door frame. He shook his head, "Nerves." He got out before heaving again. I walked over and rubbed his back. "It'll be okay love." He shrugged, wiping his mouth and flushing the toilet. "Why don't you take a cool shower and I'll get the kids ready." I told him, rubbing his side as he brushed his teeth. He nodded, "Thank you." I shook my head, "It's what I do." I smiled before walking to the twins' room.
Peeking my head in, I heard little coos coming from Zeppelin. "Hey Zep." I smiled at him, picking him up out of his crib. I sat him down on the floor so he could free roam. I picked out a little jumpsuit for each twin before walking out of the closet and to wake up Arrow. "Arrow baby, time to wake up." She whined a bit while I picked her up and sat her by Zeppelin. I grabbed two diapers to change each twin before getting them dressed. Once they were both dressed, I put them into their playpen while I got JJ ready. I pushed open her door, "JJ wake up." I said in a hush tone. She stirred awake. "Y/n?" She asked, still sleepy. "You gotta get ready to go to Uncle Jared's and Auntie Gen's." She nodded, "Okay."
I let her wake up a little bit more while I picked out a dress for her. Once she's a bit more awake, she slides out of bed and walks over to where I am. "How bout this dress?" I asked her. She nodded and I helped her put it on. When she was dressed, I took her hand a led her to the guest bathroom. Sitting her on the counter, I began doing her hair. I braided the top half of her hair then pulled the rest into a ponytail. "Woah! Mommy never does anything cool like this!" She admired her hair.
I picked her up in my arms to place her back on the ground when she wrapped her arms around my neck, "thanks y/n! You're the best!" I smiled and hugged her back. "Anytime bug." I smiled at the new nickname. I walked out of the bathroom, "why don't you go watch cartoons while daddy and I get ready?" I asked. She nodded and ran downstairs. I walked to Jensen's bedroom where he was getting ready. When I walked in he was only in jeans, sitting on the bed with his head in his hands.
I walked over to the bed, kneeling in front of him. "Baby, it'll be okay." I pulled his hands away from his face. "I don't know. What if she-." I cut him off, "she's not gonna take the kids away completely. I won't let that happen. They don't have a reason to take them away from you." I rubbed his knuckle with my thumb. He nodded, "You're right." I kissed his forehead before going to get dressed. We wanted to look nice but not too formal so I went with a lightweight sweater, jeans, and booties. Jensen went with a nice flannel, jeans, and boots.
As I finished getting ready, Jensen was putting his watch on. "I'll go get the twins. Bugs downstairs watching tv." He stopped me, "bug?" He asked with a smile. "Sorry, jj. I called her bug this morning and I think it's gonna stick." He smiled even wider, "I'm happy you guys are getting along." He pecked my lips and walked downstairs. From the top of the stairs I heard JJ's little voice tell him, "look how cool y/n did my hair!" I smiled and walked to the twins room. Scooping them up, I headed back downstairs.
Getting all three children in the car, we began making our way to Jared and Gen's house. About 10 minutes later, we arrived since they live so close to each other. I helped jj out of the car while Jensen got the twins. We walked up and rang the doorbell. The door swung open, revealing Jared. "Hey guys! JJ the boys are in the backyard playing with auntie Gen." she smiled, giving bother Jensen and I a hug goodbye. She ran off and Jensen handed Jared the twins. "Thank you so much jar." He thanked him.
"It's not problem man. Come back with good news." Jensen sighed and walked away. I turned towards Jared, "he's a mess." He frowned and I walked to the car. Arriving at the courthouse, we got out of the car and Jensen grabbed my hand. "It's gonna be fine." I stood on my tippy toes to kiss him before walking in. We sat down where we were supposed to. (I honestly have no clue how court works so forgive me) Danneel looked at us with a glare. Then the judge started to speak. "We are here to discuss custody of Justice Jay Ackles, Zeppelin Bram Ackles, and Arrow Rhodes Ackles. Mother, Danneel Harris and Father, Jensen Ackles."
Court went on for a good hour or so before Danneel decided to speak up. "You know what, I don't even care. Give him custody full time. I don't wanna hear you crying when you can't handle work and three toddlers." She stood up and left the room. "Um w-what?" Jensen whispered under his breath. I grabbed his hand, "Just hang on." I whispered back. "Jensen do you accept full time custody of these three children named?" The judge asked. Jensen hesitated, "Uh buh, yeah. Yes of course." He smiled, realizing that he'd get to spend more time with his children than ever.
Once court was dismissed, we walked out to Jensen's truck hand in hand. We decided we'd save celebration for inside the car. "Baby we have full custody of the kids!" He exclaimed. I smiled, "I know love! Let's go tell JJ and everyone!" He kissed my lips before throwing the car into drive and driving to Jared and Gen's. We arrived back at Jared's, knocking on the door it opened to reveal a woman who I assumed to be Gen. "You must be Y/n!" She said excitedly. I nodded, "I am indeed. You must be gen!"
Gen hugged me, "it's so nice to meet you!" Just then a little voice came from the entry way, "daddy! Y/n!" JJ called. Jensen swooped her up in his arms as we walked into the kitchen. "So? How'd it go?" Jared asked, popping a grape into his mouth. "We got full custody!" Jensen smiled widely. "What! No way! Are you for real?" Jared asked, smile matching Jensen's. He nodded and Jared made his way to hug his 'brother'. JJ cocked her head, "what's that mean daddy?"
He kissed her forehead. "It means you, and the twins will be with daddy all the time!" She smiled and clapped her hands. "What about y/n?" I smiled as Jensen said, "she will be with us." I paused, realizing we don't live together but I didn't wanna ruin the moment. JJ let out an excited squeal. "Why don't you go play with Tom and shep." Jensen put her down. She ran off and Gen looked at him, "so how'd it go down?" She asked. "Danneel stood up and said that we could have full custody. It was weird."
He shrugged, "I don't know but all I do know is I'm happy I'll see my kids 24/7 now." I leaned into his chest. "I told you it'd be okay." He pecked my head. The rest of the night was spent hanging out with the Padalecki's until JJ and the twins started getting sleepy. Jensen picked up the sleeping JJ off the couch and I carried out the twins. "It was good meeting you, we need to have a girls day sometime!" I thanked both Padalecki's and headed to the car. We got home, getting all three children into bed then climbed into bed.
I usually would lay my head against Jensen's chest but he insisted on being cuddled. "I'm so glad I have my little family now. It's you, me, and the kids against the world." I could feel his smile against my upper stomach as I brushed his hair back with my hand. "I love you bub." I smiled. "I love you too sweetheart." He settles his head into a comfortable position before falling asleep.
