When the two girls went to the scull bar, they went to see Caroline who was putting a few paintings in display.
"Hey, Care!" Bonnie said with a smile.
"How are you?" Elena asked.
"Hi!" Caroline smiled nervously. "I'm okay. Just a bit nervous."
"Care, you've been doing things like this since we were kids." Bonnie said.
"I know but this is different and... It doesn't matter." Caroline sighed and Elena noticed that maybe Caroline needed to talk in private with Bonnie, since they have been best friends for a long time.
"I'm gonna see Rebekah." Elena smiled and left.
"Care, now it's just us. What happened?"
"You know that British guy who I've been talking to?"
"Yes."
"He is Bekah's brother. She's super protective of him."
"And...?"
"And I think if I keep hanging out with him, I might hurt my friendship with Bekah and I don't want that." Caroline sighed.
"Care, I love how you always care so much about your friends but you can't let someone make you stop hanging out with people you like to hang out with."
"I know. And I told Bekah we were just friends..." Caroline whispered.
"But..."
"But before I felt that if something between me and Klaus would happen, then it would be cool but now... I can't let a guy get between me and my friend."
