Bonus Part V

(A/N- so from the last part I'll park where Kla pov starts but it's understandable that there's a character change there)
July 30th

There's only 2 days left until Kla turns 18 and I really want to make his birthday special. Just like he did for me.

I told him that there's a trip with some people at work, so I've stayed with my friend Champ and his boyfriend Ai'Good to make it seem more realistic. Don't ask me how that happened because I thought both of them were straight, but nonetheless I'm happy for them.

These past days I've tried to come up with a plan to surprise him,  I know that he'll be alone on his birthday anyway because his parents don't care.

I'm the only person he has left. Except maybe Ai'Nic but I asked him to come up with an excuse about going somewhere with his boyfriend. Again, I was surprised, I never thought my brother was gay. And maybe he isn't, maybe he's Bisexual or pansexual I don't know...

"Ai'Can could you help me with this, I need to get the present ready today."

Can helps me wrap the box and hide it, then he try to help me prepare some of the food and stuff. I guess he still feel grateful towards me for letting him back on the team that time when he was going through his depression because of losing Tin.

Eventually we manage to get most of the things for the surprise for Kla ready.

"Thanks guys for helping me do this." I say to my friends and turn to them with a smile. I hope Kla likes the small surprise I have for him. 

Sure I still need to get some smaller stuff ready tomorrow, and some can't even be done until the day of the surprise. I've already asked my boss if it's okay I take tomorrow and the following day off, I have a bit of a guilty conscience because I've lied to Kla about my whereabouts the last few days, but I hope it's worth it in the end.

July 31st

Only a day left until Kla turn eighteen. One day left to prepare everything.

This whole day, I've been running from store to store, and visited almost every single special place for us. Or at least some memorable ones. Like the convenient store we met the first time, the park we often go to, and some other places we've visited a few times during the years we've known each other.

I hand the clerk at the convenience store a handwritten note and a picture, the note is for Kla, and the picture is to show the clerk who to look for. I did the same at the other places I visit. When I go to the small flower shop I usually visit, the old lady who works there asks me some casual questions and have a small conversation as I'm there.

"Techno dear, where's the young handsome who usually comes with you?"

"Ah, he's at home today, but he will come here some time tomorrow, and I was visiting to ask you to give him this note and a red rose for me." I smile at the lady and she smiles back with the cutest smile I've ever received from her.

I pay for the flower and hug her before I continue on my way. It's late at night when I pass by the apartment building Kla and I live in. I look up towards the windows of the livingroom and see the faint light shining, so he's home as well.

I take a late bus towards the place my friends live and as soon as I lay down on top of the covers in their spare room I fall asleep. I dream about the following day, knowing that even though it's not something pricey or grand it's something special I've done for the most important person in my life.

August 1st

Today's the day. The day Kla turns eighteen and the special little plan of mine is going to happen. I just hope he likes it. I hope that he understands that even if I can't give him expensive things yet I can still make him happy with the things I do out of love.
