"Why are you so happy?" Sandra grins at me as I walk into the kitchen, searching the cabinets for my cup.
I change the subject immediately. "How did your date go? You weren't back until way late."
"Yeah, we went out for dinner then back to his place and just kind of talked until about midnight."
I raise my eyebrows at her. " 'Talked'?"
Sandra rolls her eyes, grinning. "Seriously, we just talked. And he walked me home, kissed me goodnight, the classic date stuff."
My cheeks heat as I think of my own kisses last night and I turn away from her. "That's awesome."
"Yeah, it was so freaking sweet."
I grin at her, filling my travel cup with hot water, reaching for a teabag. "You like him?"
"Yeah. We're going to get dinner tomorrow."
"Already?"
"Yeah." She grins happily. "Anyway, what did you do here?"
"Ah, nothing. Just watched a movie, went to bed early."
Sandra squints at me, slightly suspicious, but I smile at her. "What's his name? Do I get to meet him?"
"His name's Seokjin. And actually, I was thinking I'd invite him to dinner here one night. I already told him you live with me and he didn't even act like it was weird." Sandra beams. "He said his younger friends live with him and he's basically their parent."
"Sounds like a keeper."
"I hope so. I really like him."
I smile at her, picking up my bag again, and there's a tap on the door. Sandra heads to the front hallway and I grab a protein bar from the pantry, checking the time. I've still got a bit until I have to leave.
"Oh, hey Jimin!" I hear Sandra exclaim and my eyes widen. I drop the protein bar, hurrying into the hallway, trying to seem casual.
"I was just going to grab Y/n on my way to school." Jimin stands in the doorway, his grin widening as he sees me. "There she is."
"Oh. Y/n, you didn't tell me that you two were friends."
"Yeah, casual acquaintances." I give Jimin a look, kissing Sandra on the cheek. "Tell me more about doctor guy after school."
"I will. Isn't it early? The bus doesn't leave until 7:20."
"I want to read over some material with Y/n before class. She's not doing so well in calculus."
I glare at Jimin. "That's not true."
He grins. "She won't admit it."
"Go ahead, it's fine." Sandra holds the door open. "I get it, I sucked at math too."
"I'm not - "
Jimin pulls me out the door with him. "See you, Sandra."
The minute the door's closed I smack Jimin on the back of the head. "What is wrong with you?"
He grins at me. "Hey, it worked."
"What are you even doing?? Sandra's going to think we're friends now, and that I'm failing math." I glare at him and he chuckles, pushing me against the wall.
"What, we're not friends?" He leans in, raising an eyebrow, and I swallow at his closeness.
"Uhm."
Jimin chuckles lightly, pulling away. "Come on. I'm driving you to school."
"But your car is broken."
