No one likes Introductions, so I'll keep this brief.
This story was begun as a personal project, for the benefit of a friend of mine who got irritable when I took too long to release chapters/episodes of my bigger works. I write a piece every day, and do my best to not plan the plot too far ahead. I like seeing where it leads on its own. Now, I'm sharing it with you.
The "chapters" are small, and so read quickly, but if you're new to this story you'll see that there are sections labelled "Part x - [name]" in the table of contents. They combine all the preceding parts into a single unit, and so are beneficial to catch up with the story so far or to remind yourself of what happened in older sections. If you enjoy it, though, do please go back and vote on the original sections; that's how the story gets spread, after all.
