Marceline's Point of View:
Why won't he love me? I'm pretty right? I'm prettier than that perfect little pinkie Bubblegum. But he won't open his heart to me, I thought, staring into the mirror. Of course, I couldn't see anything. Vampire's don't have a reflection.
"Marceline?" A friendly voice called from the shadows. My dark friend, Peppermint Butler, crept out of the shadows.
"What is it PB?" I murmured, sighing and floating gently in the air. PB sat down on the couch with an apple in his hand.
"You haven't eaten anything in awhile. Here," he hopefully outstretched his candy arm up to me. I took the apple but dropped it to the ground.
"Nah," I let my long, tangled hair scrape the ground ever so gently. My heart was broken up inside.
"Marcy, you have to get yourself together," PB yanked on my hair.
"Stop!" I snapped, turning to face him and turning into a half vampire. He smirked and shoved the apple into my fangs. I sucked the red. Oh, the taste of red and fill of my stomach felt so good. I desperately tore apart my kitchen and found more apples. Apples that came from TreeTrunks' apple trees. They were the sweetest in all of Ooo.
"I told you girl," PB said, opening the door of my house. "You need to get out and explore. I have to get back to the Kingdom, but you need to get over Finn," PB left quickly.
I put on my favorite sweater and jeans and put on my yellow sun hat. The fresh air of the outside fills my lungs. How I missed the outside. I walked outside my house and started walking to Finn's house.
