Marcy:

I walked along side Mashall. He kept trying to grab my hand. I gripped the umbrella with both hands, avoiding contact. He smirked at me, but I didn't dare meet his gaze.

"Woah..." Marshall gasped, as the kingdom came into view. I rolled my eyes and led him to Princess Bubblegum.

"Who's this Marceline?" Bubblegum asked, looking at Mashall with equal disgust and curiosity. I leaned against a table stacked high with custards, candy, and many other deserts.

"I'm Marshall Lee," Marshall mumbled, floating beside Bubblegum. He picked up the drift that I didn't like her, and he also had the same dislike.

"Well, Marshall, welcome to the Candy Kingdom! I'm Princess Bubblegum. Tonight is the ball if you would like to attend," Princess explained, hanging streamers around and helping her citizens get the ball ready.

"I'll be there. Come on Marcy," He grabbed my hand and dragged me out. I purposely bumped the table of desert with my hip and listened to all the destruction it caused as we left.

"You want to meet my friends, Finn and Jake?" I looked at him, putting my umbrella away as we went through the forest.

"They sound like chumps, but alright," Marshall followed me to Finn and Jake's tree house.

"Marceline the vampire queen!" Finn called as I entered. Marshall laughed and floated around their house.

"Another vampire?" Jake muttered, cowarding away from Marshall and I. I chuckled and sat on Finn's couch.

"I'm Finn!" Finn exclaimed, smiling widely at Marshall. Marshall chuckled and shrugged.

"This is Marshall Lee," I explained, glaring at Marshall. He sarcastically opened his mouth and laughed again. That laugh. It was kind of...cute.

"You look like my friend, Fionna. You'd like her, she's a chump, just like you," Marshall casually floated beside me, practically laying on top of me.

"Yeah!" Finn smiled and grabbed his sword. "Marceline, Jake and I are going adventuring. Don't destroy the place," Finn and Jake quickly left.

"So, where shall we go? My house isn't far from here," I said, looking at Marshall. He winked and got off me.

"Lead the way," Marshall followed me to my house. I picked out my favorite purple dress with stripped stockings and red shoes. Marshall just wore his same shirt.

"To the ball!" Marshall shouted, hooking his arm in mine and flying out the door.
