I slept over and the next day I went home and showered. Do I have feelings for zane? Do I want a relationship or is this just sex. I guess time will tell. I got dressed and my phone dinged it was David.
*Hey do you want to grab something to eat? I finished editing the vlogs for this week so I have some time.*
I sent a text saying *sure. See you soon*
I was nervous to go hangout with him. I don't know if zane told him or not or if I should tell him. I feel some what guilty. I have no reason to but I do..
I walk in and I see David sitting at a table on his phone.
"Hey David." I said as I sat down across from him.
"Hey Elena." He said
"Sooo, what did you think of getting to eat." I said
"I don't know pasta I guess." He said
"Hmm sounds good." I said
We sat there until our food came. Things were a bit weird. He didn't seem like himself.
"Uh..David? What's wrong?" I said
"Is there something you aren't telling me?" He said
"Okay fine I had sex with Zane." I blurted out
"Uhhh I was talking about how you posted a photo and didn't tag me." He said laughing
"Oh uh yeah I was just kidding about the zane thing." I said kind of laughing
"No you aren't. Do you have feelings for him? Are you guys gonna date?." He was asking.
"I don't know. Why are you asking so many questions?" I ask
"I don't know I'm just just, I'm curious." He said with a sadness on his face.
"Are you okay? You look upset." I said.
"Yeah I'm fine. It's just you probably won't let me put this on one of the vlogs will you?." He said with a smile.
" no of course..." "Hey guys." I heard as I was interrupted. It was zane
Fuck what do I say. Do I just act normal. Yes I'll act normal. Okay stop thinking to yourself and say something now.
"Hey zane." I said
"Hey zane." David said with a sad tone in his voice.
"Sooo what are you guys talking about?" Zane said
"Oh nothing." I say
"That's a lie, we are talking about what happened with you two last night." David said laughing
I looked at zane and he laughs.
"Well that's my que to leave." I laugh and get up and start to walk away.
"Hey let me drive you home." David said
"I only live a few blocks away." I say
"It's okay I want to." David says with a smile
Zane looks kind of jealous
"Oh okay." I say
"Hey wait before you guys go, Elena did you want to hangout tonight?" Zane asks.
"Uh sorry zane I already made plans with David tonight. Maybe tomorrow? I say
"Oh alright then." He said
He looks jealous again. I don't know why he would be David and I are just friends and Natalie was going to hangout with us tonight too anyways.
We walked to David's car and got in.
"Hey so I have kind of a weird question." I say
"What is it?" He said looking kind of nervous.
"Has zane slept with any one else in our friend group?." I say
"Oh." David said looking kind of disappointed like I was going to say something else. "Um well he slept with gabbie and Corinna. He said
"Actually oh well then." I said
"Yeah but they were just hookups nothing ever came out of them. I guess that's what he likes doing.." he said
"Oh okay." I said kind of disappointed.
"Did you just want to come over right away now?" He said
"Sure." I said
We got to David's house and Natalie and him went and talked for a minute in a room and I didn't know what they were doing.
David went out and asked if I wanted to go to his room and so we did. I walked in there and stood there.
"Why'd you ask me to come to your room exactly? I said.
"Because." He said and then he leaned in a grabbed my face and kisses me.
Everything went slow I felt so many sparks. Real sparks. Not like how it was with zane. We slowly pulled away and he looked confused but happy and I didn't know what to do and then Natalie jumped out of the closet and screamed boo while holding David's camera. I screamed and jumped. Oh, I guess it was a prank then. Kind of a weird prank.
"What the hell you guys." I said
David and Natalie were laughing there heads off.
"What was that for??" I said
"I needed more content for this weeks vlog." David said with a big goofy smile on his face.
Awe he looks so cute. Wait. No. Snap out of it. Don't get confused about you best friend now.
"And that's the best option you had?" I said
"Yes we had to get you distracted so Natalie could scare you. Pretty good idea of you ask me." He said.
Natalie nodded on agreement
"Okayyy." I laughed
Natalie left and David came and hugged me and said sorry while laughing.
"It's okay." I say with confusing thoughts going through my head.
