A month has gone by, zane and I have been fooling around still and he keeps asking to make us official. I keep putting it off because I feel like it isn't right. I have been distancing myself from him a little more every day but he just keeps clinging on more and more. David and I have been hanging out a lot but it's always been like that. He's my bestfriend. Yeah a bestfriend you have feelings for. No no no don't think that. You don't. I rolled out of bed and checked my phone. What it's 1pm already. It's Natalies birthday dinner tonight. Fuck I totally forgot I still have to get a dress and pick up her present. I posted a happy birthday post on my Instagram for her. Put some sweats and a T-shirt. Put my hair up in a bun and went out. Hopefully no one sees me dressed like this. I went to the mall to find my dress and shoes first. I never wear anything really fancy so this is going to be hard. After a hour of looking I found the perfect dress and shoes. It's black and simple. Perfect for me.

I picked up natalies present and headed home to start getting ready. I did a really simple makeup look and I just curled my hair. I put on my dress and shoes and Ubered to the place where we were having dinner. I got there and not everyone was there yet. I walked into the room we were in and david turned around and just stared at me up and down. "Is there something wrong with what I'm wearing?" I ask "No no no, you look.. you look amazing." David said My heart melted. No no don't feel that way about him. "Thank you David." I said and smiled slightly I saw zane starring at us from across the table, he was glaring at David. "Girl you look so good!!" Erin said "No look at you!!" I said back I'm really lucky to have such good friends I feel so close with everyone in the group. They are all so genuine and amazing. I sat beside David and Natalie. Zane was looking at me to sit with him but I didn't want to. I need to talk to him tonight and end things after the dinner. Dinner ended and everything was so fun and amazing. "Hey guys we are all gonna head back to my house and drink everyone is welcome to join." David said David turned to me "Did you drive here tonight?" He said "No I took a Uber." I said "Okay i can give you a ride to my house." He said "Okay thank you." I said We all left and met back up and David's and we all started drinking a lot. David shot some videos for his vlogs of everyone acting drunk. He didn't drink that much. I had a little to much to drink. I saw zane go to a different room alone so I followed him, so I could tell him that we had to stop.
"Hey zane" I said walking up to him "Hey beautiful." He said while brushing my hair behind my ear. I stepped back a couple feet. "Uh zane we need to talk." I said "About how I need to fuck you?" He asked coming closer. "No. We need to end this. I can't be with you any way. I don't like you like that it's just lust." I said "What the fuck are you talking about. You are just drunk you do like me." He said coming even closer. "No zane. I have been thinking about this the past month that's why I have been so distant." I said stepping back again but I hit the wall. " you love me Elena, I know it. I can feel it. You are talking crazy." He said. I could smell the Liquor in his breath now he was so close to me. "I don't. I don't want to be with you can we just please continue being friends?" I said with tears in my eyes. "I don't think I can do that Elena. I just want all of you." He said breathing on my face. He started sliding his hand on my arm. "Zane please. Let's just go back to the party." I pleaded. "I don't want to go back to the fucking party. I want you." Zane said pinning my arms to the wall. "Let me go, this isn't you. You don't act like this." I said trying to push him off "Stop". He said while kissing my neck. "Zane let me go." I said louder
He put his hand on my neck and started putting his other hand up my dress feeling the side of my body. I couldn't get away. "Stop" I said louder but I couldn't breath. I started blacking out then I felt like I could breath again. David has pulled zane off and throne him on the floor. I collapsed to the ground in shock and just laid there. Zane got up and started trying to fight David. Jeff came in the room and said "what the fuck is your problem." And got in between zane. And pushed him out of the house. David ran to me and put his arms around me and asked me what happened. I told him everything and he looked at me in shock. Zane has never acted like this. "I can't believe he did that to you." David said with tears in his eyes. He just kept hugging me. Jeff came back in the room "I got everyone to leave. I'm sorry zane did that to you Elena." Jeff said giving me a hug. "I guess I should just go home now." I said "You aren't going home. You can just stay here the night. I don't want you going home and being alone in your house" David said "Okay I'm gonna head out guys." Jeff said "Okay thank you for everything bye Jeff." I said I turned back to David. "Okay thank you so much David." I said giving him a hug again. We stopped and looked into each others eyes and I just felt a huge connection.
He brought me to his room and got it all comfy for me. "You can sleep in here tonight I'll sleep on the couch." He said "David don't be silly you can sleep in here." I said "Okay fine." he said laughing We've had sleepovers together before so it's not really weird. He gave me a T-shirt and sweats to wear since I didn't bring any extra clothes over and Natalie gave me some makeup remover so I could take off this nights mess. I came back into the room and David looked at me with the same look on his face as he had during the dinner. "What? Do I look bad or something." I said "No." David said looking away I sat beside him on the bed and we both turned to each other our faces inches apart and we just stared into each others eyes again and I moved in and kissed him. He kissed me back and we just sunk into each other. It felt amazing and real not like how zane and I felt. David pulled away and looked at me with love in his eyes. "You should sleep, you have had a long day." He said and got into the bed. I got in beside him and turned the opposite way from him Wtf was that. Does he not like me. He doesn't. Fuck I fucked up I shouldn't of done that I weirded him out. Fuck.
