Barney Ross was rather impressed at how different Romy acted the last few days; her composure still stuck-up but was talking when asked a question. To him, Gunnar, and mostly Riley were glad to see her opening up to new people. He also had to give it to the one twin he did find more human out of the group; she wasn't as womanly shaped, but she had a certain appeal about her. His brown eyes studied her from her usual casual hairstyle, the form fitting comfortable clothes, to her long jean covered legs, and the green hilt skull embellished pistol she carries on her hips.

Riley wasn't much for words just like her sister, but she was the more sociable one when it came to the outside world. She noticed the constant sizing up The Expendable's team leader had been giving her. It was almost flattering if she knew exactly how to approach the situation; her and men never really were able to see eye to eye which lead to her only piece of innocence. The eldest Albu just brushed it off most of the time while she tried to figure out how to approach the man.

The rec room was quiet due to everybody occupying their own minds with studying the mission files as the time grew nearer. Gunnar perched upon the large bar counter top shook his head at the two; he never knew Barney Ross to be shy to anybody. Riley left the room when she heard her name being called; the blonde chuckled at the noticeable look his friend had.

"Never knew you to be shy." His voice cracked the tense silence.

Barney narrowed his gaze before turning to look at the blank television screen, "not shy. Don't want to get wrapped up with a distraction."

"Yea, like I believe that. We both know you want to be wrapped up with that girl anywhere and anyhow you can. The two of you could use the stress relief always trying to fix Romy maybe you should try to fix yourselves."

"No thanks. I have a job to do; she is the field expert. Anyways, I don't have to sleep with every living girl with nice hips and an ass." Barney groaned, "why you so concerned about me? You don't seem to be making anymore head way with Romy. "

Gunnar smirked at the lack of knowledge the man; his blonde bangs fell in front of his blue eyes as he remembered the 'accidental' make out session last night, "sure, Ross, if that helps you sleep at night."

Barney raised a brow at the giants remark and turned fully around to face the man, " there is something you need to tell, Gunnar." his tone curious.

"Na, like you said hadn't made much leeway with her. "

Barney scoffed and left the room not believing the man one bit. Halfway down the hall he saw Riley exiting the workroom, she turned to look over her shoulder as if she heard something and turned back around, tripping over her feet. Barney caught her before she hit the ground; instead hit his chest. A smirk played across his lips, "Have a nice trip ?"

"Sure did. Next time I will make sure to send a postcard." She countered, standing back on her own feet, " and some new cologne."

His eyebrow raised, crossing his arms with fake hurt look, "don't like what I wear?"

"Oh contrary, very attractive and that, Mr. Ross, is a problem. "

"Yea, how so?"

"Well, you see I can't you worrying about if you can keep it up long enough" she said with a wink before walking off; she turned her head once more, " but you know, Mr. Ross, I do believe after a few practice rounds you will be back in full commission."

Barney's ears turned red. Nobody made him blushed; he ran his hand through his hair and shook off most of her jasmine scent from his form fitting plaid shirt, " we shall see." he grunted.
