The Singing Bone

Gunnar saw his gypsy woman sitting silently, folding clothes and placing them into neat piles. He stood there and watched as she didn't pay no real mind to the world around her; she was dealing with him leaving once more, "I hate staring about as much as you." her old calculating voice returned.

"Almost.. you shouldn't be locked away in here by yourself."

"You have lots of clothes to put back into your bags." His low defeated sigh only seemed to cut deeper into Romy's soul. Once he was right behind her, he wrapped her close to him, kissing the top of her head, and simply stood there as she let all her tears go, "you promised.."

"I am going to keep my promise."

Riley was the polar opposite; she was located in the workout room, beating up the punching bag. Her angry noises were the only sound that filled the room, " if I had to take a guess I would say you were upset at me." he made her head turn for a few seconds.

"No, not upset. I figured you wouldn't stick around, but I let the emotional part of me think you would. Only mad at myself." She explained.

Barney crossed his arms and stood on the other side of the bag; he held it tight as she let all her emotions out through violence, " who said I wasnt?"

"Don't play me as a fool; I am not my sister. She is the one that will have a hard time getting over the fact people came into her world and made her feel like she had more then just computer, Nila, and I. I having coping mechanisms"

"Drinking?"

Riley tried to hit him in his face, but he countered her hit, twisting her arm behind her back and pinning her other at her side with a tight squeeze , "you may be able to drink my memory away. Doesn't mean I will, Riley. If I had my way the old saloon would be bought so you wouldn't have to be so damn far away. The both of you wouldn't have to cope; just walk around the block to our apartments."

It clicked. She tore away from the brown eyed man, pulling out her cell phone, and walked out of the room. He raised a brow and followed to hear her talking to what seemed like a banker, "you got your way, Mr. Ross.." all the anger she had vanished.

"Yea? How is that, sweetheart?"

"Romy been dying to relocate closer to New Orleans. This is the perfect opportunity. The realtor who has pestered us since we bought this place to let him buy it off of us for 250,00 just got his wish. We got two and a half hours to tear this place to bare minimum; round your boys up we got work to do." Riley commanded walking off to find her sister; Barney smiled a large smile, "let's do it.."

The time was used well. The workroom was place in its proper cases, weapons in theirs, and little Nila joined in to help. She had her room mostly done with the help of Yang, furniture was placed neatly in the back of the large moving truck, along with what was torn down and put in their assigned carriers. Gunnar used his height to their advantage, uninstalling the bulletproof glass walls in the main entry way. The rest of the boy had gotten the heavy lifting finished right around the time a shiny red Cadillac pulled down the drive. Riley handed him the bill of sale, signed papers, took the cash money, and the exchange was over. Romy was sad to see the place she built up go, but she trusted her sisters judgement. A new start with a new friends was needed. Barney however had another idea to make this day even better, "since we have new competition in town, let's make a deal."

"A deal? Continue" Romy asked cautiously.

"Merge the two teams. You can still be yours do your on thing, but help way other out when needed. Split out profit down the middle." Riley and Romy saw protest on some of the men's face, but they didn't combat their leader. Romy shook his hand, and Riley made what they had private very public with deep kiss, "let's get this asshole to the rightful place."Lee coughed out, breaking the couple up.

"Wanna ride?"

"No, I going to get Romy and Nila where they need to be so we can find out new home, partner."
