But It Does

There’s the feeling of sheer ecstasy

That nothing could be better

That all this excitement will never end

But it does

Being pulled away from all you know

Losing sight of those that you love

You stumble and trip over

It couldn’t get any worse than this

But it does

Trapped and isolated

Stuck in a deep pit of despair

Caught in an avalanche of hopelessness

This will never end

But it does

There’s light at the end of the tunnel

And a reason for you to live

That warm bubbly feeling

It couldn’t get any better than this

But it does

There’s the feeling of sheer ecstasy
