It's been about a year since [Y/n] became a Keyblade Master. Soon, Aqua and Terra would take the test themselves. Speaking of Aqua, in the time since their first date, they've grown closer. Now, they're an actual couple. Terra likes to tease [Y/n] about it a lot, but the two have always shared a brotherly bond, one they feel can never be broken. Ventus, on the other hand, didn't completely understand what [Y/n] and Aqua's relationship meant, but that was to be expected. He was sixteen and emotionally confused.

Speaking of Ventus, as [Y/n] was wondering the Land of Departure on the night of a meteor shower with Aqua, they saw him lying in the grass. He got up and looked around as they walked up behind him. When he laid back down, [Y/n] and Aqua were both standing above him.

Ventus: (sitting up) Whoa!

He gets onto his knees and faces them as Aqua giggles.

Ventus: Gimme a break, you two.

Aqua: Ven, you hopeless sleepyhead. You know you should have at least brought a blanket.

Ventus: But- Did I dream that place up? It really felt like I'd been there before... Looking up at the stars...

Aqua rubs his head and giggles a little.

Aqua: 'Cept you've always lived here with us.

[Y/n]: Yeah, you've been here even longer than me.

Ventus: Yeah... I know.

Wentus gets up and the three walk to the edge of the cliff before sitting down together.

Ventus: Hey, guys.

Aqua: Hm?

[Y/n]: What's up?

Ventus: Y'ever wonder what stars are? Where light comes from?

[Y/n]: Ven, I don't wonder; I know.

Ventus: Oh. What are they?

[Y/n]: They're fireflies. Fireflies that, uh... got stuck up on that big bluish-black thing.

Ventus: Oh, gee. I always thought they were balls of gas burning billions of miles away.

Aqua: Well, they say-

Terra: (walking up behind them) That every star up there is another world.

They all turn around in slight surprise.

Aqua: Terra.

Terra: Yep, hard to believe there are so many worlds out there besides our own. The light is their hearts, and it's shining down on us like a million lanterns.

Ventus: What? I don't get it.

Terra: In other words, they're just like you, Ven.

Ventus: (walking up to him) What does THAT mean?

Terra: You'll find out someday, I'm sure.

[Y/n]: When you're older.

Ventus: I wanna know now.

Terra: You're too young to know now.

Ventus: Quit treating me like a kid.

[Y/n]: Stop acting like one, Ven.

Aqua starts laughing.

Terra: Hey, what are you laughing at?

Aqua: I can't help it. You three would make the weirdest brothers.

The other three begin to join in her laughter.

As they calm down, Terra and Ventus sit down beside their friends.
