Right before Irene's eyes were shredded paper. It wasn't paper, but her English textbook. She knew exactly who did it, but they were no where to be seen. She quickly ran into the kitchen and there he was.
It was Max. Max, her little Pomeranian dog, was walking in the kitchen. Max was known to destroy a lot of her things, but never any of her school materials.
Irene was furious and immediately picked up her little pup, carrying him towards the sliding door. She opened the door and plopped Max on the grass.
"Stay there! Bad boy... that book cost 50 dollars!"
Irene walked back to the lounge room in the back of the house with her hands on her head. Her parents were at work (but when where they not?).
Ideas of how she was going to pay for the school's property spun in her head. Her family definitely didnt have to worry about expenses, but she didn't want to ask her parents for money in fear that they would make her get rid of Max. She immediately remembered the app that her nanny told her to download a while ago.
Irene opened her phone and clicked on the app. She quickly put in her information and clicked the square that said 'sign up'.
She scrolled through the options until she saw one of someone who lived near her. She clicked on it and then clicked on 'I'll take this job'.
A few minutes and a quick conversation with the costumer later, she had a job. She was going to tutor someone in math. She was satisfied because it seemed like the easiest job possible, and she could earn all 50 dollars in the next week. Her first meeting was tomorrow.
