I put my phone in my bag and followed Lilly and Marina to the car. We got in, and Marina drove us to Lilly's house.
We soon arrived,and walked inside. We went upstairs and all changed into our pajamas. We went downstairs, and grabbed the takeout we'd ordered earlier.
We all sat in the living room. "SOOO how's your boy? How was Europe and the UK?" Lilly asked.
"It was better than the romance novels I've read. It was better than the rom coms I've watched. It was better than the magazine photos. It was better than my dreams." "And it exceeded my high hopes and expectations ten times more than a NASA rocket launch." I replied.
"Aaww!! That's so dreamy and so romantic! I'm so glad you Got to go! That really sounds like heaven!" Marina beamed!
"And Clinton is treating himself better. He doesn't work too hard. He's really starting to glow again." "He smiles more. It makes me so overwhelmingly proud and grateful. I feel so at bliss with him." I explained whistfully.
"Aww!! Em! That sounds perfect! I'm so happy for you two!! When's the wedding?" Lilly replied endearingly.
"Oh he hasn't been even proposed yet silly! We're taking our time. But I have a good feeling it'll be soon." I replied.
"Aaww!!" Lilly and Marina fawned.
"Speaking of,I really should get home for dinner. Clinton might be starting to worry bout my whereabouts." I replied.
"Oh I'll give you a ride!" Lilly beamed!
We walked out and got in the car. Lilly started driving.
We soon arrived,and she walked me to the front door. She hugged me,and I went inside.
Clinton ran over,and engulfed me in a hug. I held him. "I'm sorry I didn't text you. It completely slipped my mind. I promise it won't happen again." "But I was just hanging out and catching up with my friends from work." "Lilly and a new girl named Marina." I explained.
"No it's okay. You didn't do anything wrong. I just missed you was all. I saved you some dinner." He replied warmly. He softly kissed my forehead.
"Did you think I didn't trust you?" He asked.
"No it's not that. I know how easily worried you get sometimes,cause it's a habit from studio. I didn't want you to start thinking the worst." I replied.
He softly smiled,and his cheeks tinted rosey pink. He lightly kissed me. "I love you so much." He replied.
"I love you so much more." I replied softly. He handed me a bowl of veggie lasagna,from the microwave.
I grabbed a fork and started eating.
"This is really good! Who made this?" I asked brightly.
"Christian and Jesse." He replied.
Just then,Jesse came downstairs, rubbing his eyes. He gave us a light smile. "Hey Ems. You're home late. What's the hold up? We missed you." Jesse said with a light chuckle.
"I was just hanging out and catching up with my friends from work. Lilly and a new girl named Marina." I explained.
Jesse hummed in reply.

I washed my dish and brushed my teeth and hair. I went upstairs,and went to bed.
