I woke up to the smell of breakfast and people laughing. I groaned not wanting to get up but my stomach said otherwise. I got up to go brush my teeth and as i finished i looked in the mirror at my face and neck wondering how in the hell i was gonna cover this up before going back to work.

I shook my head and ran downstairs into the kitchen seeing the one person i wasn't prepared to see. "Good morning guys."  I smiled sitting down next to Blue who was going at it with them pancakes.

"Good Morning mommy." She spoked while eating, spraying some of her food in her mouth my way . If she wasn't my child i would've been hella disgusted.

"Good morning HoneyB." Kelly smiled placing my plate in front of me. In the corner of my eyes I could feel Nicki staring a hole into my face and i turned around but her ass turned her head quickly as if she wasn't just staring at me. I shook my head chuckling... she trynna avoid me lmao. I finished my food and placed me and blues plate in the sink.

I was turning to walk out the kitchen until I bumped into Nicki. She tried to walk around me with her funny ass so I grabbed her arm and looked back at her, "Good morning to you too NicNac." She never once looked at me as she stood there moving my hand, "Don't talk to me nor touch me Beyoncé." She rolled her eyes moving. I was about to walk away but i couldn't let her be mad at me.... she's my best friend.

I grabbed her hand and led her to the guest room and shut the door. She stood there looking all over the room just to avoid looking at me. I stared at her until she finally stared at me and spoke, "Beyoncé what do u want?" she said irritated. I sighed and sat on the bed, " I wanted to apologize for how i spoke to you the other day . I was up-" She raised her hand cutting me off, " I honestly don't give a fuck so i don't know why you're explaining yourself to me. I try to be there for you and you always shut me out. You do it all the damn time Bey. I'm over it. This is your normal ass shit. You don't act like with Kelly but u always act like that with me so i see exactly where we stand. " she said rolling her eyes at me .

"Nicki it's not even like that. I was just mad." i said shaking my head with my face in my hands. "I really been stressed out and my emotions are all over the place. My marriage is in shambles. And i'm on the damn internet." she sat next to me and grabbed my face turning it towards her.

"What happened to your face and neck Bey?" she looked into my eyes rubbing on the bruises causing me to wince. I shook my head and turned the other way. "Bey... He put his hands on you didn't it?" She stared angry at my face as she turned me back to her.
"BEY DID HE FUCKING PUT HIS HANDS ON YOU?"

I felt the tears in my eyes threatening to drop as i looked into her eyes. I was ashamed to even answer a question like that. I ashamed because i let it happen and i could've prevented it by  just telling him where i was. "I could've prevented it Nic. I so fucking embarrassed." At this point i was in tears as i rested my head into her lap as she ran her hands through my hair. "I let my child see that. She's going to think that the shit is okay. I- I never meant for any of that to happened. I grew up and seen my daddy beat my mother and i vowed to myself and promised that i would never allow that to happen and i feel like it's happening at this very moment. What if he does it again Nic?" I lifted my head looking at her with tears in my eyes.

"Awe Bey. You can't blame yourself for this. He did what he did because he's a fucking asshole who was gonna do it anyways. Blue loves you very dearly and you know she'll never blame you for the things she seen. Don't be so hard on yourself babes, there was nothing you can really do to stop that... he knew exactly what the fuck he was doing . And there won't be a next time so don't even think about." She smiled at me.

"I know... I just don't want that around my baby. I know what it's like as a kid to have to witness something like that and it made me hate my mom because i didn't understand why she would allow him to do that to her." I shook my head looking down at my hands and she pulled me into a hug .
