A class of teenagers, specifically my class.... were all under foster care under the same person in this old, large, rickety mansion. The twist though; we all wished to escape. The first time I ever headed out of the mansion, it had lead into a lawn. The lawn lead into a series of other lawns through holes in the fences and gates, like a maze within the city. All of us children were to run through where ever it's end lead us if we wanted to even think about living in the outside. Once the race started, we began hearing firing, as someone tried shooting me at a school where I had crossed the lawn. Individual shooters were to chase after us. I ran through the halls of the school, quickly exiting and slipping through a small hole in a wooden fence leading into a backyard lawn where it was set like an abandoned backyard party. I climbed atop of the bouncy house behind the actual house, and hid behind a little pillar. I thought I'd fit, but my weight pulled the top of the bouncy house down. Seeing that, I ran to the front and across the road. I ran, chase all over town as a black car followed me and left behind white Christmas lights as the drove, a lanky person in a black three peice suit firing a six-shooter at me. When they found me at the end of town, cornering me at a dead end, they said that those lights they had trailed behind them weren't regular lights. As they crushed one gas escaped into the air. The people atop and in the car quickly put on gas masks. It ends there, as I fade away from the gas I had breathed in....Then I come out of the foster home again with everyone this time, as an team test for those who had individually passed the first test aparently. Everybody was given a tiny toy motorcycl which run along the top of string leading from the roof of the mansion, above the gate, and into a busy street. Everybody was given a few coins prior to the test, silver coins, as they may come in handy for this test. Some of the motorcycles fell off, but for those that continued, the kids followed until the very end of the pale strings hanged around. The first thing we encountered at the end of the strings was a vendor lady. We had to buy something from her yet the money I had passed around that was given to us was no longer accepted. Those who's strings didn't end prior the needed stop gazed upon me with dissapointed looks, all synconizing the same words;"You promised." I began apoligizing but slowly, the light from everybody's eyes faded and some began already crumbling below me as I could do nothing but watch their hopes of freedom getting crushed.
