There are a series of buildings on a shore. The beach is large, spannings kilometers before reaching the salty ocean water. The buildings are usually stores, hugging a concrete road built aboce the sand, honestly a dangerous peice of architecture as it could sink. I waded in the ocean water of the beach, diving into the deeper part where your feet no longer touch the firm sand. I spottet near the cost a huge pocket of blue hued clear water lay under the buildings, water so clear you could see it almost as clear as the surface. The entrance seemed well hidden through a small wall of rocks and slimey seaweed. I swam to shore and waddle through the small gap, sliding in as if the enterance was simply a slide. I hold my breath and look around as I dive in. It seems like its actually lit up pretty well, despite no obvious sunlight hitting it. The floor is covered with a few colorful coral bunches and seaweed. Maybe sunlight did hit the area somehow. As I swam towards the colorful floor, I see something swim past me in the corner of my eye. I turn around, looking for what it was as I was certain I was the only one in the vincinity. Swiming around, I spot another person. I swim towards them, till I realise they had a tail. It was a siren, or well, a mermaid. As I swam to get a closer look they backed up, seemingly scared. I was running out of air so I frantically tried swimming up, only to find buildings blocking any oxygen to breath. I tried finding the crevis from which I came from with no luck, the distance being vaster than I had perspected. I started falling, losing consciousness as everything started going black, my lungs burning and begging for oxygen. I shut my eyes, throttling and desperately try moving in the direction I came from as everything around me faded. Oxygen. Air. I felt something touch my chest, the weight from my body and the burning in my lungs faded. I gasp and open my eyes as soon I realized I was breathing underwater. I opened my eyes and saw the siren there.

"Are you okay?" It asked, it's lips not moving despite me hearing it's voice.

Telekinesis?

"Yea...Sorry I couldnt find where I came from, then ran out of air. My name is Jessica." I said through my thoughts.

Defenitely telekinesis.

"Hi, I'm Ryan! The girl that swam past you was Sarah, and then there's my friends Jack and Lizzy." He said as more sirens appeared around me.

I waved at them and smiled.

"People don't come here often, so you startled me." confessed Sarah, hiding behind Jack.

She had beatiful golden eyes and golden locks to match her porcelain skin. Ryan had brown eyes with black tuffs of hair and fairly tan colored skin. Jack had midnight black hair and blue eyes with translucent looking skin. Lizzy had red locks of hair along with orange glowing eyes. They all had blueish green tails, sparkling in the magical light underwater.

"How would they if the only enterance is a gap small enough to slide in a teenage person!" I thought to them, laughing.

Hmm...I looked around and saw above tons of types of floors. I saw a tiled floor.

"I'll be right back, I'ma get a ball." I thought to them.

I swam towards the tiled floor, seeking a loose tile. I pushed one and peeked through. No one was in the store, it's owner was probably busy. I crept inside, grabbed a baseball from the toy section and huridly snuck back to the tile.I plunged in and close it, swimming towards the sirens.

"Hey! I got a baseball!Know how to catch?" I asked them.

"Yea!" They replied in sync, laughing and smiling.

We threw the ball to each other and messed around for a bit.

That is, until someone opened the tile I had gone through, only able to tell from the corner of my eye. They looked shocked, it being a man. He closed it afterwards. I dismissed it, having fun with the sirens. Soon we all heard a motorboat around the edge of the space. It probably came from the enterance. I looked at them worriedly. The motor stopped.Someone was coming.

"HIDE!" I thought to them in a panick.

I swam too, trying to hide behind a huge peice of coral. Someone snorkeled down here with a harpoon, coming around looking for the sirens most likely.

I heard Lizzy's scream, followed by the woosh of the harpoon.

Her screaming stopped.I peeked above the coral and saw blood gush into the water, tainting it's transparency. He took her body and swam back to his boat. As the motor faded away, I left my hiding spot. So did the others.

"THEY TOOK LIZZY" Ryan yelled.

Sarah was crying and Jack hugged her.

"It must have been the guy at the tile." I said, thinking of what to do.

They all looked frightened.

"He might come back, you guys should escape." I said to them.

"We can only leave during high tide, when water reaches our little entrance enough to swim out. Its lowtide." Said Jack.

Later on, one by one, each of the sirens were killed, tails being sliced off of one, took back by another. Sarah was the only one left and I was bound to protect her. As the man came again to look,he saw me in front of Sarah and without hesitation, harpooned me. Sarah, eyes wide, cryed as I fell. She looked around to all the other remains left of her friends. Sarah swam away to the other side, high tide finally coming. As for me,  I grabbed the projectile shot at me and pulled it with all my might to no avail. The best I could do was distract the man as she got away. I swam towards him as he began to reload. The water around me turned even more of a redish hue as everything around me darkened. It's all my fault. I lead them to the sirens. They would still be alive if I hadn't meddled. Soon enough, everything turned pitch black.
