Aurum knew what had to happen next.
He was watching the group of 'Elipse's goons' hike up the mountain towards a retreating Ursa, and a soon to follow Cobalt, Herin, and Eon. He had fun watching all of this happen. While they fought amongst themselves, Aurum would sit in a tree and eat a banana. He wouldn't join the battle right away, but he had Horus' instructions, which were basically 'Join Ursa when Herin and his group get there.' and 'I will meet you there and help you with the battle.'
Goodie. Another pointless battle that gave him energy. But, it had to happen, so he let it.
He wasn't scared of Herin and his group anymore. They were just like him, just... unclear as to where they were or why.
Aurum had information. That made him valuable as a last resort for Herin's group to not take them custody or kill them.
But he wasn't gonna lose. Losing wasn't in his semi-vast vocabulary.
He took another bite of his banana and shrugged. Joke's on them.

A group of figures dotted Herin's view.
Funny. Herin didn't know that there were even this many people here, other that Sam's crew. But Sam would have never come up here, so that killed that option. Herin was inquisitive, yet wary, as to who all of those people were walking up the mountain.
"Let's go take a look," Herin said.
Cobalt and Eon shrugged. "Sure," Cobalt said.
They began to walk towards the group. Once they were within respectable distance, Herin saw that there five people in the group, which made him a bit nervous.
"I say we avoid them and hope they don't follow us. There's no reason to socialize with these people. We don't know them." Cobalt grunted.
Herin smiled back at him. "But, then again, I talked to you and Eon, didn't I?"
"You got lucky."
Herin turned to Eon. "What do you think?"
Eon looked a bit antsy. "Gosh, I don't like being the deciding factor... Alright, let's talk to them. The worst that happens is that they try to fight us, but I think we're plenty well prepared."
Herin, Cobalt, and Eon had done some brief practice training during the mountain descent. Of course, Eon was nervous about meeting up with Ursa again, and so they had all done some training for a small amount of time. Or, at least, they had. Eon had done a bit of running training and sitting-on-the-ground-and-watching-everyone-else-do-training training. It hadn't worked out so well for him, but Herin had some protection spells he had worked out to help ease Eon's nerves. But, nobody can ever be ready for something they can't see or know.
"But we don't know that they aren't," Cobalt shot back. "There are five of them. That gives them an advantage. What if they are more powerful, Herin. You could die. Or, worse, I could die."
Eon rolled his eyes.
"Then should we just avoid them?" Herin responded. It was pretty obvious that both Cobalt and Herin both had very opposite dispositions: Cobalt with one of caution and hostility, and Herin with one of curiosity and whimsy.
"The choice has been made..." Eon said in an ominously comical voice. "We talk to them. Nothing more, nothing less. Avoiding people will make our path more difficult, and they could possibly be helpful. You can't run from everything, Cobalt."
Cobalt grunted and had a déjà-vu moment.
Suddenly Herin realized that they were within shouting distance. "Ahoy!" he bellowed, loud enough that the group of people could surely had heard.
