Elipse was wrapping up some loose ends.
She had just talked to Yuris, and it wasn't a very rosy conversation. It had almost ended with Yuris pulling out his katana, which would not be enough to kill her, but she didn't want anybody to take the time to clean up the mess. Yuris had a short fuse, which was his major weakness in her opinion. But, she needed Yuris to help her mop up Herin and his friends' corpses. Just because her leader showed up didn't mean she wasn't gonna go for queen. Yuris was weak, mainly because he was gullible enough to give Elipse the majority of the fleet's power. He just had others to do his dirty work for him.
But I have an army.
But, for the time being, she needed to go along with the plan. She had agreed with Yuris in his mission, but not his methods.
"Where are they now...?" Elipse muttered to herself, and began to initiate her mental eye, which let her spy upon anything in a generally long radius. It was nice, and it kept her out of the dark. Another nice perk for deceiving Yuris. But one skilled with the mind could sense her prying on them.
She saw, through Herin's eye, the pine forests of the tundra nearby Eagle Peak. Perfect, she thought, rubbing her hands together in eagerness. Right where I want you.
She had a secret weapon she molded from the raw power given to her by Yuris. It was a fleet of minions she could call to battle at any time, but it strained her energy and was only worth it when she was at a relatively long distance.
Like now.
And when her enemies didn't work well together.
Like now.
Now it was just a matter of summoning the minions.
She squinted her eyes shut, and began to shudder under the stress of summoning the minions. She could see their shadows assembling, and its chest began to materialize. Soon multiple minions were forming, and she could feel the beating of their wings blowing wind on her upper bodies.
She didn't need to tell them to find Herin and their group. She was them. They began to fly out off of the high balcony, silently darting like smoke on the wind, and were easily hitting forty miles an hour.
This is where it ends.

Scarlet walked alongside Eon and Cobalt, who were taking turns holding Herin, who was still asleep in the coffin-like sled.
After Eon revealed his new power in front of them all, they began to pester him about how he discovered it.
They had finally - finally - got off of Eagle Peak. The trees had started to thicken out, and the light and gentle breeze caused the pines to lightly shake, as if they were dancing to a slow tune. It was all very relaxing, especially because nobody was talking. After all, what did they even have to talk about?
"Elipse's camp is just another mile east. We're making good time, even with sleeping beauty." Horus looked a bit disapprovingly at Herin's sled. He must've still been aggravated by Ursa's madness and possibly Aurum's disappearance. It was his fault, after all.
"Shut up, Horus," Cobalt groaned under his breath.
"We would do the same for you if you were in Herin's position, Horus." Eon looked back to tell Horus.
Horus seemed a bit doubtful of the truth in that, but then again, Eon would never let anybody die, even an enemy. Horus crossed his arms and slit his eyes towards the rising sun.
Scarlet's blood suddenly ran cold. "Stop," she whispered to the group, getting into a defensive stance with her fists ready at her waists.
They all turned around, looking at Scarlet, oddly curious. "What?" Cobalt asked, mimicking her low volume.
