"Adam! Adam!" Tim calls out as he shakes the sleeping blonde's shoulder before jumping out of bed and hurrying over to their closet."What, Sweetie." Adam mumbles as he pulls the covers up to his shoulders.
"Can you call Mr. Rob and tell him I slept too long? I'm going to be late. I hope he won't get mad." Tim says as he sits down on the bed and begins to slip on his jeans.
"What...What time is it?" Adam asks as he reaches for his phone. His mind was still groggy for sleep.
"Uh, the big hand is on the three and the little hand is on the nine." Tim answers, looking at the clock on the wall before slipping on a tee shirt. "You need to get up and get clothes on. We have to hurry."
"Wait a minute." Adam says, rubbing his hands over his face as his mind becomes clearer.
"No, I have to go. Mr. Rob is waiting for me. Get up." Tim begins to panic as he shakes his boyfriend's shoulder. "For..get it. I'll walk."
"Sweetheart..." Adam chuckles and grabs Tim by the hand before he could run off to find his boots. "School is out for the summer. Remember? You took all those tests yesterday."
"Are you jok..ing or ly..ing?" Tim asks as he glares down at his lover.
"Neither one. Tim, yesterday was the last day of school." Adam smiles up at the irritated look on his boyfriend's face. "I'm telling you the truth, Baby."
"You better be." Tim says as he sits down next to Adam on the bed.
"What?" Adam chuckles.
"If Mr. Rob comes and tells me I'm in trouble for not going to school today, I'm... then you're in trouble." Tim says as he turns his head to look at the blonde.
"Okay, if you don't believe me then go ask Chance." Adam says, raising a brow.
"I wanna be..lieve you." Tim says with a slight nod. "I wanna be..lieve that you wouldn't do anything to get me in trouble because you love me."
"I do love you very much. And you can believe me." Adam says as he leans over and kisses Tim's cheek.
"Okay." Tim smiles shyly.
"You hungry? I'll go fix you some breakfast." Adam asks as he takes the brunette's hand in his and kisses it.
"Yeah." Tim nods. "Can I have one of those things that you make with the meat and cheese wrapped in an egg?"
"An omelet?" Adam asks with a smile.
"I think that's what you called it. It's really good." Tim nods.
"Okay, then. One ham and cheese omelet coming up." Adam says as he reaches for his clothes.
~~
"D*mn, something smells good in here." Chance says as he and Austin walk into the kitchen.
"It's my om..let." Tim smiles up at the couple as he sits patiently waiting at the table.
"Oh, that sounds good. Do we get omelets too?" Austin asks as he fixes him and Chance some coffee.
"Sure. If you fix them yourself." Adam chuckles as he turns around with a platter of omelets.
"You plan on eating all those yourself?" Chance laughs.
"No, I don't think Tim and I can eat all these so I guess we'll share." Adam smiles as he sets the platter on the table. "You know guys, I was thinking..."
"About what?" Chance says as he takes a bite of his breakfast.
"You know Tim's birthday is next week, right?" Adam asks as he sips his coffee.
"What's a birdday?" Tim asks.
"Honey, it's BIRTHday." Adam smiles.
"Okay? What's a BIRTH..day?" Tim asks once again.
"It's the day you were born." Austin answers, cramming a bite into his mouth.
Chance chuckles softly as he sees the puzzled look come across the brunette's face.
"But, I thought I was already born." Tim states, furrowing his brows.
"Timmy, a birthday is a celebration of the day you were born." Adam explains. "You'll be 38 years old. Which means that you were born 38 years ago."
"Is that old?" Tim asks.
"No, it's not old at all." Chance smiles. "So what are you planning, Adam?"
"While we were vacationing on the island, I told Tim that one day I would take him on a cruise maybe to Belize or Honduras. Why not the four of us take a cruise for his birthday." Adam says with a shrug.
"You're inviting us to go too?" Austin asks, his eyes lighting up.
"Of, course. It'll be fun." Adam nods.
"Are we lea..ving now?" Tim asks.
"No, Sweetie, your birthday ain't until next week but there's a lot of planning we have to do before then." Adam explains.
"I've got an idea." Chance says, leaning his elbows on the table. "When you take a cruise, your time at these places are usually limited. Why don't we just fly to Belize and spend as much time as we want and then go to Honduras and spend some time there?"
"You know, that's not a bad idea." Adam says with a smile. "I mean, cruises are cool and all, but you spend most of your time on the water traveling."
"Not to mention, a lot of people have been getting really sick on these cruise ships lately." Chance adds with a shrug.
"That's true." Adam nods. "And with our luck, ours would be one of those." He adds with a chuckle.
"Can we stay in some of those hotels I've seen on the internet that are built out on the ocean? Those are awesome!' Austin giggles with excitement. "I've always wanted to see the Mayan pyramids. I have that on my bucket list."
"Well, looks like you'll be able to mark it off your list." Chance says as he kisses his boyfriend's cheek.
Tim sat quietly beside his boyfriend and listened to the conversation. Some he understood, some he didn't. Like, what was a Mayan pyramid and a bucket list. But he didn't want to show his stupidity and asks questions. He figured he'd learn what they were discussing sooner or later. He did know that when Chance mentioned flying that he meant in a plane since people can't fly like birds.
"I'll get on the computer and see what I can find. That does sound pretty cool." Adam grins. "I'll have to book our plane tickets too."
"Adam?" Tim calls quietly as the blonde stands and begins to collect the dirty dishes.
"Yeah, Sweetheart?" Adam answers as he continues to work.
"Uh.... when someone has a birth..day, do they get cake?" Tim asks as he looks up at his lover. "I read a book at Mr. Rob's house and the girl had a birth..day and she got some..thing called a birth..day cake. Do I get one?"
