As I headed out onto the lawn I spotted Nick standing at a black Honda sedan in a plaid gray sweater, blue jeans and plaid shoes he looked so cute in it. I was dressed in a blue dress shirt with black and white stripped tights, a small blue jeans jacket and a high tops.
“Hey” said Nick as I approached him.
He embraced me in a hug. “Hey, where are we going tonight?” I asked.
“This cool new club called RXP ALL NIGHT.”
“Alright lets go” I replied excitedly.
I jumped in the car and we headed off to the club. When we reached our destination I was confused there wasn’t a club in plain sight and there was no music.
I asked “Umm Nick where is the club?” He held my hand and intertwined it with his.
“Follow me” said Nick.
I followed and he led me to the side of a vacant building and pulled open a door and loud music blazed through my ears I couldn’t have heard my own heartbeat.
“The club is underground!” Nick shouted while hauling me to another entrance where I was greeted by a muscular guy with a Mohawk.
“It’s me J-Dog” said Nick.
The man looked at us and said “Oh hey man, what’s up? I see you brought a little lady along with you.”
Nick looked at the man and grinned and said “Yeah she’s my date tonight.”
The man nodded “Alright go on in.”
He steeped aside and let us through the entrance. “Thanks” Nick replied.
When we went in the place was packed with people. I saw lots of booze at the bar. Some people were flirting, making out, grinding on each other and having a good time. Nick then asked me “Do you want to dance?”
I looked around “Sure”.
He pulled me onto the dance floor and we were like dancing in a mist it was fun. Then before I new it Nick kissed me our tongues locked, his lips on mines like they belonged together, it felt like magic but after a minute or so he pulled away and all the magic vanished.
“You want a drink?” he asked.
“Sure” I said smiling.
As I waited I saw Jackson in the corner drinking some frizzy so I went over and joined him. “Hi Jackson I’m really so...” I began to say but was cut off.
“No you don’t have to apologize I was being a Kaiser and I’m really sorry” said Jackson.
“Apology accepted” I replied.
Honestly I couldn’t stand being upset with the little freak I have missed his little off the charts conversations on a daily basis.
“I don’t think you know but I have had a huge crush on you since you’ve arrived at Harvard, I’ve just always liked you, but I see you have already found someone.” He said staring at Nick who was talking to the bartender.
“I knew you had always had a crush on me, Luke told me” I said giggling.
He looked at me smiling nervously “Luke told you that?” He asked scratching his head and blushing. He tried to turn to another direction to hide it but I caught it before he did.
“Yep” I replied grinning.
“Anyways I better get going I’ll see you on campus.” He said hugging me.
He smelt like aftershave. “Yeah bye” I said. He smiled.
I watched him as he exited through the door. I was really happy that we worked things out and got everything out in the open. I was so happy that I was smiling like I never did before. Do I really like back Jackson? No that’s silly he’s like a friend to me. Really? My thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice.
“Do you know him?” It was Nick.
“Yeah he’s just a friend” I replied looking at the door he left through.
“Oh well here’s your drink?” said Nick giving me an unconvinced look.
“Thanks” I replied as I took a sip of my drink. I drank mine down leaving it empty and so did he.
He then said “Let’s dance”.
When we got on the dance floor I just felt like to get out of my shell and get crazy. I danced and danced, drank some more and then everything slowed down and went black.
