1 month later
"Babe your going to be ok just try to get up and walk just a little baby try."
"Matthew what if I won't be able to walk anymore what am I gonna do without my legs Matt..and."
"And what?"
"And...what...what if you won't like me anymore"
"yeah your right"
"You jerk I knew it I knew you were..." He cuts me off
"Your right I don't like you.................... I love you Sydney" He smiles and kisses me softly
"Matt you don't love me we met not so long ago..."
"So what.? When I first laid eyes on you I knew you were the one. I'm in love with you Sydney and it doesn't matter if you won't be able to walk again that won't change anything" he whispers
I give him a little smirk and try my best to get up.
"Help me get up matt"
Lola's POV
I hate going to school without Syd I just feel so lonely without her.
HONK
That's Carter. I walk out and lock the doors and get into his car.
"Hey babe" I say reaching over for a kiss
"Hey baby how's Sydney?" He replies
"I talked to her last night shes with matt he's taking care of her till her mom gets home from Kentucky"
"Oh that's good when is her mom getting home she's been away for almost 5 months"
"I'm not sure"
"Oh I really want to find out who did this to you guys they're gonna have to pay for this you know" he says while starting the car
"Yeah" I sigh
Sydney's POV
"Yes finally matt I'm walking!" I yell with excitement
"Yea babe your doing great keep going try getting used to it" he says
I'm really glad Matthew is helping me learn how to walk again I feel so safe and conferable around him i think I'm falling in love with him.
2 hours later
"Hey babe I wanna take you out tonight"
"Really?"
"Yeah of course, we haven't gone out on our first date yet"
"Hmm where do you want to take me?" I tell him teasing him for a kiss
"You'll see" he says kissing me back
Ugh I hate surprises.
I roll my eyes and whisper a sigh.
"Call down" he giggles
"I just hate surprises matt" I beg
"*laughs* come on babe lets get you upstairs"
"Are you gonna wait for me to get ready?"
"Yeah"
While limping I walk over to the restroom and get in the shower.
30 minutes later
Finally ready. I call matt to help me walk downstairs and then we lock the doors and walk to his car.
***Conversation***
Sydney: "So where are we going now?"
Matt: "My house"
Sydney: "Your house? why?"
Matt: "Gatta get ready too babe"
***End of conversation***
I look over at him with a smile.
[Matthews house]
Matt drags my wheelchair over to his front door.
*knocks*
"I'LL GET IT DADDY!" I hear a little girl say
"MATTFEW!" She says running over to him giving him a big hug
She is so cute.(hazel eyes, black hair, cute little pink lips) it's like the little sister I never had.
"Hey Cait!" He says
"Syd this is Caitlin my niece, Caitlin this is Sydney"
"Hi Sydney" she says with such a cute stridulate voice.
"Hey sweetheart" I open up my arms for a hug
"Wow I wish I could be so pretty like you"
"Aw you are pretty your really pretty" I answer
"Mattfew can I show Sydney my room! Please! please!"
I look over to Matt and smile.
4 minutes later
"Look look Sydney look at my horsey and my polar bear!"
"Wow Caitlin they're really pretty just like you"
"Thank you" she blushes
"Here I want you to keep my horsey her name is Diamond!" She says handing it over to me
"Really I can keep her Cait? Wouldn't you miss her?"
"Yes but I have Vanessa (polar bear)and I'm ok with her"
It's only been about 5 minutes since I got here and I'm already loving Caitlin like my own little sister
