I sat on my bed with my earphones in listening to the 5 Seconds of Summer interview play back to me from last night. This was the third time I’d listened to this freaking interview and it was already pissing me off because frankly there was nothing useful in it. I couldn’t even get anything new another magazine hasn’t already gotten like – I don’t know – a secret crush or a secret habit or song or anything no one else knows. Even if there was a question that could have gotten something secret out of them they laughed and changed the subject.

“So in about every interview you’ve had the question asked ‘are you single?’ – and obviously you’re on tour so you’re constantly moving so you don’t necessarily have time for a girlfriend. So I won’t ask that question again. But do you have a crush, or someone who you are close to that you wish you could start a relationship with?” I asked in the interview, my voice staying professional but not too professional that they knew I did this for a living.

“Ah, yes. I have had a crush on this person for a long time and I don’t know if they know I even exist, but Michael Clifford, if you’re listening to this, I really like you and I wish we could be together.” Luke said and I almost ripped my earphones out of my ears and threw my phone at the nearest wall this annoyed me so much. They think they are so freaking funny with their little bromance band crap. I paused the interview, annoyed of listening to their voices already.

I knew I needed to listen to this interview until I could almost say each part by heart so I knew I’d gotten every possible piece of information of it. I was so angered by their stupid little answers to the questions I was asking I could barely stand it.

I sighed and pressed play again knowing that the quicker I get this done the sooner I can stop listening to them talk.

I almost fall asleep when the interview stops half way through the question I was asking. I sat up and looked at my phone confused. It didn’t even register in my brain that I got a notification until I read it, I thought I must have accidentally clicked pause in my sleepy state. I unlocked my phone to find I had a twitter notification.

I opened the twitter app and found that I had gotten a DM, though I don’t know who it’d be from because I only have fake twitter followers on this account. It was the account I had dedicated to my fake blog. Still in my sleepy state I didn’t register the fact that I’d given 5 Seconds of Summer this twitter until I opened the DM and found it was from Ashton Irwin.

It read: ‘Hey! I hope this is the right twitter account otherwise this message is really awkward, actually it is already awkward. Anyway! You interviewed my band last night and you seemed pretty cool. So yeah. I checked out your blog it looks cool.’

First of all, that was the most awkward tweet/DM anyone had ever sent me. Secondly, he stalked my blog – creeper. And thirdly, what the hell do I reply to that?

I sat there thinking for a while then I thought of something to reply.

‘Hey. Thanks. Yeah this is the right account. I’m glad you liked my blog. Also thank you for your interview again. I’ll upload it on my site soon if you want to check it out. Also, How are you?’ I replied back and immediately it was seen.

‘I’ll def have to check it out! I’m good thank you for asking. I don’t get asked that a lot. I’m super tired though we stayed for ages at the arena last night and met a few fans. And then had a little sleep in this morning, but we are heading out for an interview soon so I’ll have to go find some super strong coffee to keep me awake.’ He replied immediately, my little plan going to plan – if that makes sense.
