annie- what is it?
asher- i love our friendship and I don't want it to change.. but at the same time i get worried sometimes about how my feelings may change so i know this makes no sense to you but I want to make a promise that no matter what happens we will always be best friends and stay best friends okay?
annie- yeah i promise
annie pov- are you serious! when i actually thought we could become something more he just shuts me down. oh well...

peyton and asher walk into school holding hands and so do annie and hayden..
johnny- what just happened
kenzie- what- omg.... peyton and asher! no annie and hayden to!!!
carson- i called it guys...
asher- hey guys meet peyton... my girlfriend!
jayden- ya we know you've posted all about her....
kenzie- ANNS!!!!
annie- KENZZZZ!!!!!!
they run up to each other and hug
kenzie- i missed youuuu
annie- me to! hey guys!
*everyone except asher*- hey!
annie- hey asher? or no?
asher walks away with peyton by his side
kenzie- hey.. don't worry about him okay!
annie- i know and i shouldn't it's just whenever he's around peyton he ignores me...
hayden- you still got me baby okayyy
annie- i knowwww *give him a peck on the lips*
*the bell rings*
*they all walk to first period*
asher, annie, peyton and hayden all had 1st period together
ms.waller- alright class your assigned seats are up on the board so go find your partner
annie pov- i was with asher while hayden was with peyton.. we sat down and all i could think about was me and ashers friendship... why wasn't he talking to me, why was he ignoring me. then i look over to see peyton and hayden laughing and talking with each other while me and asher are not even facing each other. what happened! i could see asher was looking at peyton and hayden so i decided to go out of my comfort zone and take the bigger step
annie- asher.. i don't know what's happening but please talk to me...
asher- *silence*
annie- are you mad at me? what did i do
asher pov- annie did absolutely nothing wrong. im not even mad at her. the problem is peyton.. she told me to stop talking to annie or else she would do something bad to her and I'd rather not risk it. so i tore a piece of paper out of my notebook and grabbed a pencil and started writing annie a little note ... it said

annie pov- asher ripped a small piece of paper out and started to write a note. he put it on my side of the desk and when i opened it, it was saying how he was trying to protect me? but from what... suddenly i feel a light grip on my chin. I turn to see who it was and it was asher
asher- annie.. i missed you so much..
he pulls her into a light hug and they pull away after a good 10 seconds
annie- ash i missed you to
*bell rings*
annie pov- honestly that was the best class ever... im glad me and my best friend are talking again..
a group of girls start chanting "annies a hoe!"
annie runs over to see what's going on..
she saw a group of girls with a sign of her face and they were yelling "annies a hoe"
in the group it was peyton, jenna, nadia, and ruby
annie- what the fuck! guys stop
asher walked in front of annie and started to stand up for her
asher- guys! stop it! your literally acting like children stop!
all the girls out my signs down and quiet down
peyton pov- asher boo, you were supposed to be against her right?
asher- peyton how could i, you know what we're over!
peyton- wait i- what!
asher- you heard me!
asher pov- honestly im glad i broke up with peyton. i could finally be free and explore other girls, specifically annie though... i don't like her I honestly love her ....
annie- hey asher, honestly i wanna thank you a lot...
asher- no problem
they pull into a hug and ashers hands are wrapped on her waist
annie- ash.. i think we should stop though
asher- what, why?
annie- it's just it seems like you and peyton had such an amazing relationship going on and i feel like im getting in between it. wait that came out wrong...
asher- annie... me and peyton broke up
annie- ohhh.. *smirks*
annie pov- i pulled away from the hug, even though i was in a relationship with hayden for some odd reason it felt right to be with asher.... it seemed like me and hayden were breaking off and all summer long he was with his friends and apparently was busy.. i was about to lean my head onto ashers shoulder i was pushed away by the one and only...
hayden- are you cheating on me leblanc!
annie- leblanc? since when have you called me that. and no of course i wasn't
hayden- you so are! annie lebitch were over!
annie- fine by me hayden summersalt
annie pov- freedom is all i felt once hayden, peyton and the rest of the girls left. it was only me and asher. in the middle of the hallway, late for class once again... but lucky for us they have an exception for the last day of school. my smile was fading until i heard three words being whispered into my ear " i love you ". i knew it was asher. but did he mean it in a couple way or friendship way? I smiled it off and said "i love you to asher"
asher- anns why don't we just take the day off..
annie- like where?
asher- like we can go to the beach or my place?
annie- the beach sounds perfect...
asher- lets get out of this place!
annie and asher went through the office until......
