"sir, only guardians are allowed in the vehicle." the doctor says from behind

7th time this week. my body has gave up on me 7 times. there making sure this doesn't happen again. "this might hurt a bit" oh trust me i know it hurts. well im used to it now. it's just a huge shot they put in my body. the normal things you know. and then i arrived at the hospital, i got put in my room, and they did the normal things. by the time i left i felt like a new man. and they gave me a treatment, which definitely helped. my mom was at the hospital waiting for me and avi to finish in the lobby. we walked out of the lobby to the parking lot. a familiar face walked by me. it's almost as if she walked tried to hide from me. hm weird?

"annie? annie? your about to bump into this man" hayley says trying to grasp my attention.
"huh? oh my gosh im so sorry i wasn't paying attention" i say to the man, who looked like an elder but who am i to assume
"why were you zoning out and it was like you were trying to hide beside me? did you see a hot boy ooh annieeeee" hayley exclaims
"shut up you rat." i said
"but seriously, why'd you hide behind me. jokes aside" hayley asked me
"asher was right in front of me and i kinda freaked out."
"is that hayley leblanc?!" a voice says loudly from behind. it sounded like a boy
i turned around and guess who it was. avi samuel angel. instantly me and asher made eye contact. asher looked like he was in terrible condition. speaking of that fact we were in a hospital parking lot. avi and hayley hugged each other for a good 2 minutes. me and asher just stood in awkwardness standing vertical from each other. finally the 2 pulled away.
"we should get going hay, moms making dinner" i say to hayley as she pulls away from avi
"but annie. you haven't seen asher in like 2 years. and i haven't seen avi since last year! let me chill" hayley exclaims back to me
gosh some little girl has an attitude
i slowly start to walk away from the group, but i see asher move his feet. almost as if he was trying to follow behind me. which indeed he was
"hey, annie" i hear ashers soft raspy voice from behind
"oh, hey" i say, yeah im kinda freaking out
"sorry, if this is awkward, which i don't know why it would be cause we text right? but i just wanna say im sorry." he says and it seems like his mood completely dropped
"asher. im dating jack."
did those words really come out of my mouth to asher?
"annie. i didn't want to speak to you to get back together you know, i came so things wouldn't be as awkward. cause clearly i saw you were trying to ignore me" he says
god i missed him
"i-im sorry" i said to him and ran like i was trying to get a home run

usually, i have girls running after me, not away from me. but this girl. she's a different kind of girl. which i already knew but still, it's been 2 years. but i guess her feelings stayed the same. she hates me. she literally dumped my ass

"ill try my best" annie whispered under her breath
