annie pov- i can't believe he canceled the date. i mean i guess it was family things but it seemed like he was lying to me. the way he said it and everything. hayley hasn't talked to me once today after this morning. i decided to go to her room.
*knock knock knock* annie- hay? are you in there?
hayley- yeah um come right in! wait why aren't you getting ready for your date with asher
annie- oh he said he had to rain check
hayley- oh. that's weird
*flashback*
asher- hey hayley
*this was earlier at lunch*
hayley- hiiiiii
asher- so i have to ask you a big favor. you know how me and Annie are going on a date tonight right yeah okay so i have to pick her up like 30 minutes later but I wanted to trick her to think I canceled it!
hayley- your such a prankster *sarcastically*
asher- well anyways try to make her get ready like say your mom and dad and you guys are going on a special dinner so she has to dress nice
hayley- will do!
asher- thanks hay
hayley- no problem! this better go good
*endof flashback*
hayley- annie! so mom, dad, and us are all invited to this fancy dinner so dress nice we're leaving around 5!
annie- okay ugh
annie pov- at least i have something to do today other than lay in bed and watch netflix. i started to get ready. I did my makeup first and i ended up doing a natural look, for my hair i curled it and finally for my outfit i wore a tight lace white dress. i look down at my phone to see a text from "asher angel😍💓 " wow his name even looks good oops

annie- nothing I'm just going to this stupid dinner. hbu?
asher- standing right outside your door!
annie- wait what.

annie pov- I run outside my door and go downstairs and open the front door to asher standing there in his cute tux you could say, flowers and the biggest smile ever. i hugged him so tight i don't know how he was still breathing. i felt safe in his arms.
asher- well i tricked you!
annie- wait so is there an actual dinner or like was this all apart of your plan
asher- hayley
hayley was behind them taking pictures
hayley- what yeah! there's no dinner well speaking of dinner im hungry. mom!
ashannie- haha.
annie- so why'd you end up tricking me
asher- well i just wanted to give you a little surprise you know
annie- well your surprise worked! let me go grab my phone and ill be right out
asher- okay!
asher pov- i was so happy. tonight will change everything between us and I'm happy it's a good change. she walked down the stairs looking beautiful as always. i grab her hand while she closes her door and we walk to my car. i let go of her and i open the car door for her, i smile while she gets in. i get in the driver seat.
asher- you look gorgeous by the way
annie- thank you, and you look handsome

they drove for about an hour and the whole time they were jamming out to music, talking or just being cute in general. finally they made it to the location. it was a restaurant on the beach. but that wasn't ashers only surprise...
