With Kargo floated by my side, I wielded the power of the vortex to direct myself to the right point in time. As I travelled, the plaque kept pace with me while revealing where I can and can't travel through time to.

Kargo: May I ask precisely when and when we're going?

Jasmin: I am unable to travel back in time to prevent Amelie's death and in some timelines, I tried to travel back to just before Augustus entered the portal, so I could prevent him from escaping but unfortunately him travelling through the portal is yet another fixed event.

Kargo: So which point in time could we travel to?

Jasmin: I see a small window in time just after Augustus entered the portal and before Aurelio chased after him. It's our best bet at saving my parents.

Kargo: Aurelio's not going to like it.

Jasmin: I don't care if he likes it or not.

Kargo: Oh?

Jasmin: Kargo, one way or another- it's happening. It's my parents lives we're talking about! That's worth more than revenge.

Kargo: And if Aurelio doesn't see it that way? Do you intend to forcing on the issue?

Jasmin: If I have to.

Kargo: However, if it does, know that for what it is worth- I will fight by your side.

Jasmin: Aw, that's so sweet. You'll make a great human shield.

Kargo: I am unsure what to be more insulted about; being referred to as human, or that you're talking about using me as a shield.

Jasmin: You know that I didn't mean it. I'm glad you're with me, thanks.

Kargo: You're welcome, and don't underestimate the power within me, Jasmin! I've defeated demons, celestials over ten times my size and all without needing to return to my true form! Which is well..as I can't remember what it is.

I was still unsure on whether I should believe on Kargo but I was also curious as well to what his true form may be. Not for long, I finally reached to the end of the vortex and about to return to the basement. However, the plaque manoeuvres in front of me and images started to form in it.

Kargo: Get out of the way, plaque thing! Places to go, people to convince!

The image was slightly blurry at first but it became clearer as I focused more into it.

Jasmin: Wait a second, is that- Augustus and Rynna?

I focused on the plaque even more and allowed myself to see through time. Then, I soon realised that I was in a small café called Le Petit Bistro; as a fly on the wall, witnessed the carnage unfolding.

Amelie: The grimoire. We want it back, sweetie. So hand it over, before something bad happens.

Rynna: And if I give it to you, you'll give me the painting?

Amelie: Oh, yes! You have my word! Sorceress's honour!

Matías: Ha!

Amelie: Careful dearie, or you may find yourself turned into a newt.

Rynna: If I help you, will you tell me how to stop the time jumps?

Amelie blew Rynna a kiss.

Amelie: There you go. Once Caspian Ludovic has been saved, you'll have the knowledge you seek. Now where was I? Oh, yes. You were about to give me the grimoire.

Rynna does not give Amelie, who disguised as Evalyn, the grimoire. Instead, she casts a spell; an awful, powerful spell.

Rynna: Doorrfaas, loood, arrak dun!
