~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~Five's POV~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

9:00 P.M.

When Happy and I arrive back at the Tower, he shows me to the sleeping quarters.

"Your room is number 5," Happy says, giving me a key card.

What is this place, a hotel? And I don't think the number five was on accident, either.

"How ironic," I say. "Do I have a roommate?"

I hope not.

"No. Since there are only 20 kids, everyone gets their own room. Also, you will get a uniform. Are you hungry? I think they still have dinner, but I'm not sure."

I shake my head. "No, I think I'm just going to sleep. Hey, thanks for today."

"No problem. Everyone has bad days once in a while."

I put the key card into the slot and walk into the room.

There is a tan desk on the wall closest to the door. It has papers, a laptop, and office supplies on it. On the wall opposite to the desk is a twin bed with a black comforter set. At the foot of the bed is a small white mini-fridge, with a magnet that says Do Great Things! with a picture of a smiley face on it. Super inspiring. I feel motivated already.

There is a dresser, presumably full of clothes,  on the far left side of the room.
Next to the dresser is a closet. I open it to find that it's a walk-in closet, something Allison would probably love. There are navy blue t-shirts, a few black jackets, blue t-shirts, black and white long-sleeve shirts, black pants, jeans, black cargo pants, one camouflage outfit, and one tuxedo.
All of the blue shirts have the Stark Industries logo on them.

I walk to the mini fridge and open it, hoping and knowing that I won't find any alcohol. My suspicions are correct, and the only thing in there is a few water bottles. I open one to see if there is vodka in it, but nope, still water. I look around some more and I don't find a coffee maker, either. Honestly, how do these people expect me to survive without good beverages?

I go to the desk and put the piece of paper with my plan on it. I look through the dresser to find some clothes. I take them out to find a set of pajamas. The white shirt says 'Stark Industries' and the pants are red and white striped.

I take a shower and change into the pajamas, that fit me surprisingly well. I wonder how, but then I remember that when I was filling out forms, they asked us for our shirt, shoe, and pants sizes. I thought it was odd at the time, but now it makes sense.

Wait.

That means they must've come in here to put the stuff in here, which means they have a key. I have to be careful not to leave any valuables here, just in case. I laugh bitterly. Valuables. As if I have anything of importance with me.

I look at the clock on the bedside table and see that it's only 9:30.

I stand up and walk to the desk. I stare at the paper for a minute, then sit down and make some corrections. I then take the paper and put it in the bottom drawer of the dresser where some clothes were. If these people were to find out my plan, I don't know what would happen. It's bad enough that they already know I can teleport.

I go to sleep.

I dream about a shadowy figure chasing me.

I'm in the post-apocalyptic world again, but this time there's no newspaper, no way of telling what time it is. Only desolation and destruction. Delores is there too, giving me that judgemental look that she always does when one of my ideas doesn't go as planned.

I'm running, Delores in my arms, the shadowy figure always a few feet behind me, and I sense it reaching out to me, it's claws almost touching my back, pulling me towards the depths of it's swirling darkness, pulling me in like light entering a black hole.

I stumble once, on a piece of debris, but get right back up and continue running, going as fast as I can. I see something else, besides the shadowy figure, out of the corner of my eye, but I can't tell what.

A voice is there too.

"It's coming... It's coming..."

What is coming? And why?

I wake up to a noise outside. I glance at the clock and see it's around 3AM. Who could it be at this hour?

I stand up and go to the door, rubbing my eyes. There are voices outside, followed by people stomping loudly in the hallway. They better have coffee at breakfast.

I turn my light on and open my door to find a trio of people covered in....dirt? It took me a minute to realize the group was Peter, the other girl, and, some type of tree monster.

Suspicious.

"What are you doing out here, Peter and Company?" I ask.

"GPS."

"What?" I ask.

"Our name is GPS. Groot, Peter, and Shuri."

"I don't care if your names are Gus, Paula, and Shawn, what are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing, Felix."

"Hmm. Why should I tell you if you're not going to tell me? I mean, we all have our secrets, right?" I respond.

Shuri sighs. "Look, I'm tired, they're tired, you're obviously tired, can't we all just go to sleep and deal with this tomorrow?"

Peter looks at a nearby clock on the wall and gasps.

"Actually, it is 3:20, so----"

"In the morning, Peter. Let's deal with this in the morning, maybe when we've all gotten some sleep and have come to our senses."

For some reason, the three of them look at me, expecting me to argue.

I shrug. "I couldn't care less. See you later, losers," I say, turning to go back into my room.

I make a mental note to keep an eye on those three.

As I return to the bed, I hear them whispering to each other and remember how my own siblings and I did that.

Oh, wait, we didn't.
