Amy's Pov

I woke up to a blinding light, I opened my eyes and saw the curtain was open. When I sat up I looked around and didn't recognize the room.

"Oh shit, how the fuck did they find me?" I freaked.

I ran to the door.

"Baby girl?"

I looked towards the voice and saw Mark walking into the room.

"What is going on?" my head started to spin.

"Relax honey, breathe, please. Everything is okay." He said walking to me. "Tell me what is going on."

"I woke up, I didn't know where I was, I thought they found me again."

"No one found you. You are safe. Can I hold you?"

I rushed to him holding tight.

"No more, your safe baby girl."

"Only you can call me that."

"He will pay for calling you my name for you. Plus, many other things.

"When is his court date?"

"I am working with the judge to see if you can stay here and not go to it."

"You do know that is not going to happen."

"I am still trying."

I jumped up wrapping my legs around his waist then buried my face into his neck.

"Can I lay you on the bed?"

"As long as you are with me."

"Always."

He carried me to the bed then laid next to me.

"How long were you up for?" He asked playing with my hair.

"Not long, the sun woke me up. I looked around and got scared."

"I am so sorry, Sean called me telling me that we will find out today if I have to go court for killing Kenny and Ryan."

"No, please for the love of god let the answer be no. They have taken you away from me too many times. It's not fair."

"I know baby girl, I wish they would leave us be, but we will just have to see. If I have to go to court, I am not leaving you or the kids."

"You promise?"

"Yes, I promise."

He pulled me in for a kiss then kissed the top of my head.

"Everything is going to be okay." He said.

We laid there in each other's arms not saying a word. He started to play with my hair putting me to sleep. When I woke up he was on the phone again.

"Thank you, I will wait for the call." He ended the call.

"What happened?" I rubbed my eyes.

"That was Robin, he said that if for some stupid ass reason, I have to go to court, he will defend me and will not charge me."

"That's nice of him."

"Yeah, he is a really sweet guy. But it is time for lunch, what would you like?"

"Can we have ice cream for lunch?"

"That sounds like a great idea."

He kissed my head then picked me up taking me into the kitchen area, he sat me on the island.
