Mark's pov

"Come on! You need to eat or you are going to be late for school!" I called out as I plated their breakfast.

"I'm right here," Luna said taking her seat.

"Look how pretty you look! That dress is definitely you!"

"It has monkeys on it!" She giggled.

"Dad we got mail!" William said running in the house.

"1 no running, 2 your ten how do you have mail?" I put my hand out for the mail.

"Luna has mail too!"

"Who told you to go outside and get it?" I was getting upset.

"No one." He looked down.

"Did you tell me or your mother that you were leaving the house?"

"No."

"Don't do it again and hand over the mail."

"What's going on?" Amy asked walking into the kitchen.

"William went and got the mail without telling us," I said looking at the mail.

"William! You know you need to ask us if you can leave the house. I don't care if it's to just take the trash, we need to know where you are at all times!" She raised her voice.

"I'm sorry, I was just trying to help."

"Go sit down and eat your breakfast." She said.

"Um, did mom tell you anything about sending the kids something?" I asked her.

"No."

"This is a male's handwriting."  I looked up at her, all of her colors drained from her face. "Baby girl, let's get you to sit down."

"Dad, what's wrong with mom?" Luna asked.

"Eat your food," I said as I carried Amy to the couch.

"He is gone, both of them are." She said.

"I know, I am going to open them." I kissed the top of her head.

I opened William's.

"Hey! That's mine!" William said.

"When you turn 16 that's when you can open your own mail," I said as I took the papers out of the envelope.

"Well?" Amy asked.

"It's a letter."

Dear William,

I am writing this letter to you and having it be sent 10 years from now. Knowing your father he most likely killed me and saved your mother from me. If things went my way I would have both you and your sister with me. But your father and uncle Sean saved all of you from me and my friends. You should ask your parents what I am talking about. You should know who your mother really is.

From,

Kenny.

"Is it?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, he wrote them before he was taken care of, my guess is Luna's is the same."

"We can't show them." She was shaken.

"Over my dead body." I pulled her into me.

"What's wrong with momma?" William asked walking over.

"This letter that is addressed to you is from a very evil person who is no longer around. They hurt momma in many ways. You are not to see these letters. If you find anything with yours or your sister's name on it and you don't know what it is. You are to give it to me, do you understand?"
