Sorry that it took so long (again) to update. But now I've already planned the next chapters. Hope you like it :)

"I can't believe you're going to London today" Olivia said with a husky voice when Zooey finished packing her bags. It wasn't easy packing all the things she would need in the next seven months into two big suitcases.
"Believe me, I can't believe it either. It seemed to be so far away when I received the letter. But now it's three months later and here we are" Zooey said smitten. She really had to fight against her tears.
"It's going to be so sad and emotional. But you're going to have the time of your life darling!" Olivia almost cried and hugged her friend – not the last time in the next hours.
"But you have to promise me that you'll visit me in London okay? We have to paint the town red together!" Zooey almost begged her friend. Olivia chuckled and put her arms around her friend again.
Zooey couldn't imagine not seeing Olivia in the next months. They saw each other almost every day at college and on all the other days when they weren't there, they at least talked on the phone. Not to mention all the other occasions they met. So how would she survive without Olivia's help? Zooey owed her so much. Olivia was the one that pushed Zooey to go on dates again. Without her she wouldn't have met Peter – okay it wasn't the best decision to date him, but still. Plus, without her she wouldn't have been at the best parties in town.
"So what are we going to do on our very last day together?" Zooey asked her friend. As always, Olivia already had a plan.
"Well, I know exactly what to do now" she grinned and looked into Zooey's dvd box. "We're spending our last evening together with our four best fictional friends Seth, Summer, Marissa and Ryan!" Olivia laughed and started a The O.C. dvd.

The alarm woke them up early the next morning. Although the flight was scheduled at 2pm, Zooey wanted to have as much time as possible to pack her bags, check everything she had to check before leaving and then have enough time to drive to LAX. It would take almost two hours and she didn't want to be pressed for time.
When Zooey hefted the last suitcase into the trunk, Olivia almost started crying again.
"It's happening" she whispered to Zooey who didn't say a word and sat down at the passenger seat.

Although the girls have already driven the way down to LAX several times, it felt different this time. The landscape rolled past and Zooey was looking out of the window. She didn't want to arrive at LAX. Instead she wanted to keep driving down the highway with her friend. But reality hit her almost two hours later when the girls arrived at the airport.

"Why does California say goodbye with such a beautiful sunny weather?" Zooey asked when the girls were walking from the parking site to the airport. "I guess it's just karma for leaving California behind" she mumbled.
"Well, maybe it is" Olivia grinned but her eyes looked sad. Zooey couldn't look at her friend. It made her cry too and she didn't want to cry yet. Of course, she would start crying at some point in the next two hours but not now. Not right now.
The girls arrived at the lobby. It was totally crowded. There were paparazzi probably waiting for a celebrity. Zooey just laughed at them. Everyone knew that most celebrities used the back exit so seems as if there were a few beginner paparazzi.

When the girls arrived at the destination board Zooey noticed tension arising inside of her. Her body started shaking and she didn't know whether she should start laughing or crying. On the one hand she didn't want to leave her friend behind. But on the other hand she wanted to explore London and live a semester abroad. It was all she ever wanted.
"I think I have to meet the others soon" Zooey said after a while. When she turned around to hug her friend, Olivia was standing there, tears in her eyes.
"I will miss you so fucking much" she sobbed while putting her arms around Zooey's neck. Zooey was tearful but tried to fight against it. She didn't want to cry. She didn't want to cry. She didn't want to....fuck.
