Amar's POV
Her beautiful smile appeared in my mind. The two, deep dimples that appeared with it seemed to make my mind go crazy. Her beautiful plump pink lips that looked so soft and kissable. WAIT, WHAT?
I woke up covered in a thin layer of sweat as I questioned myself about the dream I just had and wondered why was she appearing in my dreams?
I made my way towards the windows, pushing away the curtains, I sighed as the cool breeze hit my face and let out a smile as the moonlight shone down upon us brightly accompanied by starts, that looked like an artist had placed glitter in the palm of his hands and blew, letting the glitter fill the canvas.
I stood in the balcony and continued to watch the stars and how peaceful this world was in the dead of night when I heard the window and balcony door open of the room next to mine.
My eyes widened when I saw Aaliya and Zaira walk out with a smile on their faces as they looked over at the moon. It took me a second to realize that the silky material surrounding Zaira was not a scarf but in fact her silky brown hair.
I quickly closed my eyes and turned towards my room trying to get the image of the moonlight shining on her face which oozed happiness and joy out of my brain.
Why does this always happen to me?
This is not the first time I saw her without her scarf. I remember the day so clearly when all of Aaliya's, who is my sister, friends came over and I got kicked out of the house. I remember the way Zaira and my sister had been playing with the water, throwing it at each other like the little kids they are. The way her hair cascaded like a halo around her as she kept placing strands of her hair behind her ears.
AstagfirAllah. I shook my head trying to get rid of these thoughts but I couldn't help listen to their laughter coming from the room next door. This is going to be a long night. I mean I love having friends come over to our house as it is so much fun and they are like one big happy family but when your heart starts acting weird around one of them it is just not a good sign, to hang out with them anymore.
"I don't know what to do Aali? Why does my heart speed up every time I see him look at me or smirk at me? Bloody hell, he is meant to be annoying and off-putting not attractive," I heard Zaira say as I couldn't help but seem interested in what they were talking about.
I heard a gasp which I presume was Zaira and just to be clear I am not eavesdropping. I simply can't stop my ears from listening to what is going on around me, especially not voices carried by the wind and led into my room.
"Eww, I can't believe I am hearing you talk about him. Stop Zaira it is awkward," I heard Aali retort as I let out a slight snigger even more eager to know who they were on about, just to warn that person to watch out, as an evil witch, was on her way to ruin their life forever.
"Haha very funny. How many times have I heard you talk about Amir your boss? He is like my brother so now we are equal," I heard Zaira snap back as my eye grew wide in shock.
Does Aaliya have feelings for her boss?
Does Zaira have feelings for me?
"Well, that is different because I don't know if he feels the same way but I am guessing you do know what he is feeling?" Aaliya asked, curiosity laced in her voice.
"Urghh why am I falling for my best friend's brother!?" I heard her exclaim as my heart began beating quicker and my eyes widened.
Oh no, I am the guy that has to face the evil witch, I thought as I began to let out the laughter I had been holding in for so long. Shouldn't I be happy as my dream is coming true?
