Zaira's POV
Today was the day where I would be able to finally see my best friend happy. Today was the day where half of my Dua's(prayers) would be coming true. Today is the day where I will see a smile on her face.
Today was the day Amir Bhai was proposing to AALIYA and AMIRA!!
Yes to both of them. As when I asked him he had replied with "If I am going to marry Aaliya, then I am marrying all of her, each of her flaws, her perfections and lastly that means marrying Amira as well because she is a part of Aaliya and that means she is a part of me".
Isn't that so adorable and sweet?
I squealed as I began curling my hair and going over the whole plan and idea in my head, making sure I don't say anything that will mess this surprise up.
I was currently getting ready before heading off to Aaliya's house as her parents had something to tell her. I was excited to go so I can learn more about Safina and Simra as they are going to become her sisters-in-law soon. Plus I wanted to see what type of people they are and if I like them or not because I don't want my best friend torn between her soon to be in-laws and her best friend.
"Reharn, hurry up otherwise we will be late," I shouted at my older brother as I carefully tied my hair back and did my hijab. I wrapped a shawl around my shoulders and was about to leave my room when the door slammed open skimming my face in the process.
"Oops, sorry I didn't see you there I am so sorry Zaira," Reharn said as he hugged me.
"I am going to let it slide only because I am so happy for Aaliya today," I simply stated as I moved out of my brother's embrace and made my way towards the stairs.
"Really?" Reharn asked me with disbelief as I nodded my head and made my way towards the main door.
"Allah Hafiz everyone I will see you later on in the day!" I shouted as everyone nodded their heads and I left the house with my annoying but amazing brother.
We entered his car and gave him the puppy eyes, hoping to persuade him to let him drive his car.
"Please, can I drive your car?" I asked him as I looked at him with my big puppy eyes as he glared at me. I began to quiver my lip as I knew he would eventually give in and I was right he did.
"Fine but why don't you ask dad to get you a car?" he asked as I pondered the answer in my mind for a bit.
"Hmm, I don't know. I will ask dad soon for a car but didn't he say that he has bought me a car but is modifying the engine?" I asked Reharn as his eyes widened at what he had just said.
"What no. What car? What engine?" he asked as he tried to look dumb. Either he is a good liar or he really didn't know because he sure fooled me.
"Oh okay. So can I drive your car? I promise I won't crash it," I asked him as he let out a sigh and climbed out of the car as I crawled into the driver's seat.
"You are so lazy, Zaira I swear to Allah what will your future husband do when he asks for a cup of tea or home cooked food?" he asked me as I swatted his shoulder.
"Shut up. What would Ameena do when she realizes her husband spends more time at the gym than he will with her?" I asked him as I raised my eyebrow at him.
This seemed to work as he turned red and shut his mouth instantly. The rest of the ride was so peaceful after that conversation.
"I'm sorry Zaira," he said as he placed his hand over mine, which was resting on my knee.
"I am also sorry. Ameena would be lucky to have a husband who is as active as her and that person would be you," I answered as I patted his hand and turned my head for a second and gave him a smile before focusing my eyes on the road and concentrating on finding a space to park Reharn's car in.
