We were all standing off against that damned Ruby and her friends.
One of her friends had just asked me if I feel anything for the people I've killed.
We were all distracted as something came through the roof.
We all covered our eye as to not get glass in them.
When we looked back we saw Adam Taurus on the ground.
Ash's POV*
I jumped through the hole I made and landed next to Adam's unconscious body.
I stood up and I heard Cinder said "The prodigal child returns.".
I said "I came back to finish you off.".
Cinder asked "Why aren't you fighting Ruby over there? Based on your missing limb and the burns I saw on the top of the tower of Beacon, you were hit by the light too?".
Delta said "Damn, her deductive reasoning skills are almost as good as yours.".
I said "Because, she's not the one I'm after.".
Cinder nonchalantly asked "And I am?".
I said "Yes. Besides, we have a score to settle.".
She nodded and fired a fireball at me.
It hit my Kevlar and did nothing.
I said "Let me educate you on what true firepower looks like.".
I formed my arm cannon with a Fire Dust infusion.

I fired at her and it knocked her into a wall.
I reformed my cannon back into n arm and pulled out my cane.
I then turned my attention to Raven.
I said "I'm a bit surprised you're here Raven. After traumatizing you into peace I thought you'd leave the capital alone.".
She said "I'm not here by choice. Salem goons said they'd destroy my people if I didn't cooperate.".
I nodded and said "Okay. I won't rat you out to Ironwood then.".
She nodded and I turned my attention back to Cinder.
She got up angrily and glared at me with actual fire in her eyes.
I asked "Ready for round 2?".
She summoned a sword out of fire and charged.
She stopped when a giant hulking man got in her way.
She said "Move, Hazel, she's mine!".
He in a deep voice said "No! If she's the one you talked about who fought her opponents with jabs to weak points in their bodies then I'm the only one who can fight her. Concentrate on the others".
