Everything was being wrapped up nicely within the mindscape, or so it had seemed to the sides and Thomas. Thomas had decided that he was going to tell Joan the full truth of what happened and why he wasn't there for his friend and that seemed to be the end of the problem. Until they all noticed a shift in Patton's demeanor. Patton stood up just the tiniest bit taller and seemed to have a more elegant stance than before. A snarl made its way on Patton's face as he looked towards Thomas."Wow, I'm so proud of you Thomas," He said while clapping his hands slowly, "You're so mature,". All of the sides in the room immediately tensed up but none more so than Virgil. He looked across the room and saw the slightest hints of his old abuser within Patton.

"Thank you," Thomas replied wearily as he looked towards the usually happy side.

"I knew something smelled fishy here," Virgil said as he glared towards 'Patton'.

Logan then decided to open his mouth with, "I also smell it, I told Thomas to take the trash out," Virgil looked dumbfounded at Logan's stupid comment.

"No I - it does smell bad, I was talking about Patton," Virgil replied exasperated as he gestured to the normally loving side.

Logan nodded as he said, "Oh-oh-oh you mean how he's clearly-" 'Patton' twisted his hand and made Logan's own hand cover his mouth.

Roman finally spoke up "Oh I get it now."

Frantically Thomas looked around trying to get answers "Wait- what? I don't- What's happening here?!"

Roman looked towards Thomas and ominously said, "You have to give us permission first."

"There are sides to everyone that they would prefer not to know about, but you're the boss, Thomas. Any information you want to know you can. You just... Have to be open to hearing it," Virgil said to give Thomas more information.

"In other words, would you like to learn something new about yourself Thomas?" Roman inquired to their host

"I - I don't know..." Thomas replied wearily as he looked toward 'Patton'

Mockingly Patton replied to Thomas saying "Oooh, I don't know either Thomas! You might not like what you find."

"Fine! Tell me!" Thomas shouted out.

Logan ripped his hand away from his mouth and gave a shout of "DECEIT!" with that 'Patton' transformed into Apollo. Thomas backed up and looked around the room.

"What?" Thomas said, "Deceit?"

"Who's she?" Apollo commented snarkily, "never heard of her."

"Oh, I hate this guy and his creepy... snake face!" Came Roman's idiotic reply, "However he is very kind."

"Love the new outfit Roman," Apollo said sarcastically which went directly over the creative sides head.

Apollo took this moment to take in the anxious side's appearance. It was obvious that Virgil had lost a lot of weight, he noticed Virgil's sleeves pooling around his hands obviously hiding his wrist. 'He's been cutting again,' Apollo thought. Apollo saw the bags under Virgil's eyes were considerably worse. A low growl threatened to rip its way through Apollo's throat as he looked at the smaller side. "What did they do to you, my love?" He asked under his breath. "You've obviously been doing better here," The lie was so blatant, Virgil was surprised the others didn't see through it as well.
