Chapter 23 : Welcome To Papakits! ( Friendzoned? )

~Erika's POV~

"Wake up, my princess." Darren whispered.

"What do you want? Why do you need to wake me?" I asked with a sleepy tone.

"Guess what?"

"Ano nga?" 

"Do you know where Papakits is?" 

"No. Why? We'll go there?" 

"Yes daw."

We're on our way to Papakits. I think, it's located at Liloan, Cebu? My dad said that it takes less than 1 hour to go there.

Then I fell asleep in Darren's shoulder. Why am I always doing that? But, I'm comfortable if I'm with his shoulder.

"We're here na my princess." Darren whispered.

"Why are you always call me 'princess' ?" 

"Eh, anong gusto mo? PRINCE?" 

We rented a floating cottage. There were many Starfishes there!  I am just looking at my phone then suddenly Darren put his arm in my shoulder.

"Time to eat guys!" Dad shouted

We ate LECHON. Hehe. I really like lechon.

"Ok lang ba sa inyo kung hindi muna kayo magswiming? Tomorrow nalang." <-- Mom

"Yes po." we answered

"And, ang available na Deluxe room is three nalang in one house." <-- Mom

We finished eating and went to our rented house.

"Ahhm, Erika, can you and Darren be roommates?" <-- Tita

"Sure po, tita." <-- Me

Then the little girls are just smirking.

"Is there something wrong with my face?"

They showed me their phone with a picture. You know what the picture is? IT'S DARREN AND I. Remember nung he put his arm in my shoulder? Rika and Lynelle were taking pictures! 

"And we'll gonna post it." <-- Rika

"Don't you dare." 

"Ate, alam mo bang takot ako sa INSIDIOUS? Kaya don't say 'DON'T YOU DARE'." 

I just rolled my eyes playfully.

"Time to sleep na. Matulog na kayo." <-- Daddy

"Watcha doin'?" 

"Just watching my Instagram." 

"Diba, your Dad said that sleep na?"

"Eh, ikaw? Anong ginagawa mo diyan? "

"Just nothing. Matulog na nga lang ako." 

I laid down in the bed. Actually, our bed is only small not like Crown Regency.

"Hoy, pumunta ka nga dun." <-- Darren

 " 'Yoko nga. Doon ka." I said pointing on the floor.

"The fudge, Erika? Ugghh! I can't sleep there." he said disappointedly.

I stuck my tongue out.

"Please?" <-- Darren

"No way."

" Bakit ngayon pa? Eh, nung nasa Manila tayo hindi ka naman aarte kung magkatabi tayo, diba?" 

"I don't care."
