Journey to the Mysterious Island

Chapter 1

A/N: Made up the language just warning you guys.

It's been a few years since I found an old man laying on the beach shore, I took him and helped heal him so he could live. When he did start healing, he also started teaching me about his world and in return, I taught him of mine. He was my only friend, well besides Pip which was a small blue glowing bird. The man's name was Alexander Anderson, and my name is Rai.

My eyes snapped open when I heard screams of people, it sounded close to the lizard's nest. Getting up from my lying position on the tree branch, I began to dart across the branches towards the screaming voices. I grab onto a vine finding a group of people, who were huddled behind a very large man.

The man was trying to fend off the female lizard, who looked very pissed off at the moment. I sighed grabbing onto the spear that was on my back, then grabbed a vine close to me before swinging in between the lizard and the group of people. My body was in a defensive position, the spear pointed in front of the lizard's nose. Bearing my teeth at the female lizard, making a hissing noise causing it to glare at me.

"Nina by fi, cost," I told the female lizard, telling her it in a threatening way. (Lizard you should leave.)

The lizard hissed at me in reply, bringing her arm back ready to strike me at any given moment. Looking past her outstretched arm, then pass it finding one of Alexander's inventions. Ties up all along the trees, I followed the vine to the bottom of it all and smirked. Throwing my spear at it, I heard a voice exclaim from behind me in shock and disbelief.

"How Can She Miss It! It's Right In Front Of Her!"

The spear broke through the vine, I moved backward pushing into the large male making him move back as well. We all watch the female lizard get hit by logs, before falling onto the ground with a thud. Smirking in victory I got up from my defensive stance, running over to the female lizard and jumping over its head grabbing my spear from the tree.

Looking back to the group of people, who stared at me than the female lizard in shock. I jumped over the head again landing on my feet, I put my knuckles on the ground. Tilting my head I look at them in complete and utter confusion, maybe they come from the world Alexander has told me so much about.

"Hello, uh.....we are, not here to harm you......" The smaller boy said, raising his hands up in front of him.

I stood up like he was doing and put my hands in front of me, I could see smiles spread out on their faces. I grinned and jumping forward and around him to the tree, climbing up it and disappearing into them. I watch them as they look to the trees trying to find me.

I giggle and come face to face with the girl, she jumps back with a yelp and puts her hand on her heart.

"Rai stop scaring the poor guest." I hear a familiar voice scold me lightly.

I smile going back into the trees, plopping down beside Alexander on my knuckles and feet. He chuckles as the boy smiles widely and exclaimed.

"Grandpa!"

I watch as Alexander smiles, then hugs the boy. The two breaks apart when the larger male cleared his throat, staying next to Alexander's side I stand up to be like them. Catching the girl and the boy's attention.

"Grandpa this is my step-father Hank. The pilot who brought us here Gabato, and his daughter Kilani."

"Pleasure to met the people who brought my grandson here," Alexander said with a warm welcoming smile. "Oh, this is Rai she helped me get back on my feet."

Confusion ran through me so I tugged on Alexander's sleeve, he looks down at me to see my confusion and chuckles. Giving me a look that told me he would explain everything later, nodding my head in agreement I walk up to the lizard not paying any attention to the watchful eyes. Looking over the lizard and ignoring the whole dispute between Hank and Alexander, I knew the lizard was going to wake up in a few minutes.
