Alex, Layla, and Reece sat around Reece's room and played games all night. "Hey...what happened between you and Jett?" Alex asked quietly. "I...I- Uh...I was just a bet..." Reece whispered. Alex's eyes widened. "So we get to kill him now?" She asked. Reece laughed a little. "No no.." She said. Layla gave Reece a hug. "I'm sorry." She said. Reece smiled. "It's alright I'm fine." Reece spoke while her eyes teared up.

"No you're not." Layla spoke up. Reece let the tears fall slowly but quickly wipped them. "I just really like him." She said. "Like or liked?" Alex asked. "I still like him..." Reece whispered. Alex nodded slowly but Reece knew she didn't approve of this.

The doorbell wrong from downstairs and Reece went to answer it since her parents weren't home. She opened it slowly and the pizza guy was there. "Oh hi sorry." She said. She grabbed the money and swapped with the guy grabbing the pizza. "Bye have a nice night." Reece said shutting the door. "I got pizza!" She yelled. Alex and Layla came running downstairs quickly.

They sat on the couch eating while watching a movie and laughing with each other. "I missed this." Reece said. "Just us hanging out." She added. "Yeah." Layla agreed. "This is just what I needed." Reece said. "Thank you guys." She said. "Of course." Alex replied. "We love you and we gotta stick together. When you're down we gotta be there to pick you back up and stand you on your feet again." Alex added.

Jett looked at the date on his calendar. The bug fight was in a couple days and then there was prom. He sadly looked down. "I'm such a jerk..." He whispered to himself. Why did he want her so badly. There was no denying that he was in love with her. There was no hiding it and he needed to tell her.

There were so many different emotions going through Reece right now and she was so confused. Alex and Layla had left earlier thag night but now Reece was alone with millions upon millions of thoughts in her head. She didn't know what was wrong or right anymore. Now all she wanted more than anything in all honesty was someone to smoke with and get drunk with even though she knew that if she got caught she'd be in huge trouble.
