This might be a VERY short chapter.
Aphmau's POV
"Aphmau...it's me, your...D-dad..Zach.."
"W-what..? You...you're joking...you have to be joking!" I nervously chuckle.
"Aphmau...please, you have to understand-"
Before I could let him finish his sentence, I ran back to my room, retracing my steps.
"APHMAU!" My so claimed "dad" yelled as he ran after me.
I pass by where Dottie, Blaze and Daniel were, But I just keep running.
How the fuck am I running?
How the fuck am I awake right now?
Katelyn has a point. I don't know how the heck I am running back to my room at all!
I arrive and burst through the door.
I stand at the door frame, panting, catching my breath.
Everyone that was in the room stopped arguing, which by the way, THEY WERE FIGHTING FOR THIS LONG!? KATELYN'S ARGUMENT WASN'T EVEN THAT INTRIGUING!
"Aphmau? How'd you...get there?" Katelyn questions.
"Oh my Irene y'all are blind." I pant/mutter.
"All questions aside- ARE YOU OKAY!? WHAT HAPPENED!?" Sylvanna worries.
My dad then sprints into the room, with him then stopping in his tracks when he sees mom.
"That- happened." I pant, still trying to catch my breath.
"Sylvanna..." Err, um, I guess Zach? Trailed off.
"Zach..." Mom growled.
"What are, you, doing here?..." Mom clenches her fists.
"I heard my- our- daughter got hurt. I came to see how she's doing." He crosses his arms.
"Oh, so you come when I'm quote on quote: "hurt" but not my grade 8 grad, my sweet sixteen, 7th birthday, oh! The list just goes on and on!" I cheer sarcastically.
"Look, I came here cause not just you getting hurt, but because I've been seeing the video. The one, with you and Ein fighting."
A/N Ignore the fact that Zach knew which hospital she and Ein were in 😅
"What about it? It was just a normal fight." I shrug.
"No, it wasn't. The video was paused right when you were on the floor, then un-paused with you standing in front of Ein who was knocked out dead. But not dead. Aphmau, have you ever wondered what happened in that moment where all of those videos paused at?"
"Well, I haven't wondered. Because I know what happened." I mumble.
"Um, should me and Katelyn leave? Or-" Aaron gets cut off.
"Yes, you too. Leave." Sylvanna says.
Aaron and Katelyn get out of the room, and just sit down at the chairs in front of the room.
Katelyn's POV
Me and Aaron leave the hospital room to let them have their "family moment" .
We can hear yelling echoing throughout the room, it's honestly annoying now cause me, Aaron, and Sylvanna were arguing just a minute ago.
We were both staring into space, thinking if we should just go back to FCU, until we heard:
"Because you are a divine warrior, Aphmau. You wield Irene's relic."
Aphmau's POV
"WHAT!?!" I yell.
*COUGH COUGH*
Yeah okayyyy so, that's the end of this chapter.
Short one! I warned ya!
But I guess this is a filler? I dunno.
We're getting closer to the part where the description of the book says, so keep an eye out for that!
