~Jairoh’s POV~

 

 

I can feel my sweat dropping.

I clenched and unclenched my hands.

 

My mom was staring at me with worried brown eyes.

 

“So there, your son is under monitoring” the bastar, aka, the inspector, told my mom.

 

“With all due respect, inspector, I didn’t raise my son to be a murderer and  I don’t think it’s nice to accuse him like that so easily”  trust my mom to be so calm at a time like this.

 

“I do respect your statement, Mrs. Basquez, but nothing will be changed, your son is still under my monitoring, so…” he wiggled his hands shackled with mine in front of my mom.

“This is going to stay” he finished then stare at me.

I averted my eyes away from him.

I sighed helplessly.

I’m sorry, mom. I wanted to tell her that.

 

My mom looked helpless too.

 

“Is it really necessary for my son to stay at your home, inspector?” my mom asked.

 

“Yes, so I can monitor him 24/7” the bastard replied.

 

Please, just shoot him.

Somebody!

Anybody!

Just kill him!

 

I heard the inspector sigh.

“Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt him, I’m just trying to help with the only way I know” he said.

 

Is there any other way?

That’s a rhetorical question, huh?

 

“I understand, just please be easy on him” my mom pleaded.

The young inspector gave her a reassuring smile.

“I will”

I think we still need to talk.

 

I read Anton’s text message.
