Chapter Two| Jake

I accidentily just bumped into this really pretty girl in the hallway. Since I'm new, I have absolutely no clue where I am, or what I'm doing. I find my homeroom, Mr Beacen. That girl I bumped into is not in this class. Well at least a few kids that went to my school last year are in here, like: Jeydon, Haden, Jack, Bobby, Joe and Quinn. Luke, Clayton, and Savannah must be in the class with that girl.

I wish we could be friends. She's cute and really funny. I wish I knew her name. When will we speak again? It would be nice to talk to her. "Good morning everyone. My name, for those of you who do not know me, is Mr Beacen. We will go around and you will say your name. This is so that everyone knows eachother this year. We'll start with you." He points at a tall boy, "George." Then to a short skinny boy, "Mike." "Larinna." "Kent." "Calum." "Brittany." "Landyn." "Robert." "Jayde." "Christina." "Michael." Robin." "James." "Alliah." "David." "Matilda." "Callie." Finally he points at me. "Umm... Hi? I'm Jake, and yeah, okay, bye...." Dang it, so awkward! Why????? I don't even know. I sit at the desk beside Jack. "Sup Jack.." I say awkwardly. "Eh, nothing, this class is weird, don't ya think." "Yessss! But I did meet this girl earlier. She was nice." I say and Jack snickers. "What's so funny hotshot?" I say annoyed, my cheeks hot with embarrassment. "Nothing.. Nothing, its just.. Pffft," He laughs. What's his problem?! I never... Ohhhhhh, I get it now. He thinks I like her. I'll show him! "I don't like her you idiot." I say, not for his sake, but mainly for mine. How could be the first day and I already like someone?
