I woke up very tiredly, cause I knew it today was my first day of school after a perfect holiday. I had a amazing time in Spain and I enjoyed the lovely weather over there, now I'm back in the boring and cold England. I wish I was still there so I could enjoy the beautiful weather. I missed the warm sun burning on my body making me very happy.
I grabbed my phone under my pillow, looking at the time seeing it's 9 A.M. and I slowly got up out bed. Thank God is had school at 10;30 A.M. I opened my curtains making me squeez my eyes shut. The sun was shining brigthly today making me smile slowly. The sun makes me so happy and makes me forget about all the problems I had.
I turned around making my way to the bathroom. I stripped down my pyjama and turned on the warm water. Waiting for a minute till it was on the right temprature. I slowly stepped in the showing, leaving goosebumps all over my body. I leaned my head back, making my body relax and enjoy the warm water streaming down my body. I washed my hair as usual with coconut shampoo and washed my body. Doing all the other things and turning off the shower. I stepped out the shower, wrapping a towel around my body drying my body and later my hair. I grabbed another towel, wrapping it around my body, walking up to my room again.
Looking in my closet for some natural looks, I grabbed a white shirt with a blue jeans like I wear normally. I didn't like to wear some shorts, I never liked the way I looked and it always maked me feel sad when I was looking at myself in the mirror. But my best friend Jesse liked the way I looked and he makes me feel so comfortable. Now I was thinking about him I realised how much I miss him. On school we were always together and we always hung out together, he was like my bigger brother, till we got very close and I started to like him.. the last school day before the summer holidays we hung out at his house and watched some movies and before I need to go home he kissed me. Since then I haven't seen him.
I dried my hair and brushed it fast and gently, pulling it up in a tight pony tail. I sat on the ground, looking at myself in the mirror starting to do my make-up, like I always I didn't used a lot of make up, i put some foundation and mascara on and I was ready for my school day. I grabbed my bag and phone and walked downstairs, hearing no one, like always. I was only child and my parents got divorced when I was 4, and since then I'm living with my father who's always working and isn't home when I need him in some times.
''Hello?'' I yelled. ''Is anyone at home?'' I didn't heard any sound what means I am alone at home. I let out a deep sigh and walked to the kitchen making me a bowl with cereal. Sitting down eating my cereal and thinking about how I was about to go to school and see Jesse. It's gonna be so awkward cause he kissed me. Hearing my phone buzz louder as my alarm making me snap out of my daydream. Looking at my phone seeing Jesse's name, making me smile.
''hello there gorgeous'' I heard his deep voice, giving me butterflies and smile widely. Damn, I really liked this boy.
''Hey Jesse, how are you?'' I asked him slowly.
''I'm fine, are you ready for school? Cause I'm standing outside your house''
''Yes I am, I'll be there in a couple minutes'' I said before hanging up.
I cleaned up the bowl with cereal, seeing I didn't even eat everything up. I grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket and grabbed my bag from the ground and walked to the front door, opening it slowly seeing Jesse sitting in his car looking at my way, waiting for me. I saw him smiling, making me smile even more. I slammed the door shut and walked over to his car, getting in.
''Jesse! good to see you again'' I said with a huge smile on my face, leaning in to hug him.
''Kristen, I missed you'' he leaned in and hugged me back. It felt so good to feel his arms around me, feeling his warmth on me. He pulled slowly back looking at me with a smirk making me smack his arm.
''Stop smirking you idiot'' I said while laughing. He laughed and started his engine, driving off to school. The whole way we didn't said any word. I leaned my head against the window, looking out it to the beautiful weather outside. After 10 minutes or like that the car stopped, I looked infront of me seeing the school, making me sigh deeply.
''This school year is gonna be the best, let's go!'' Jesse said, getting out and slamming his door shut. I sighed and got out of his car, walking behind him into the school. It was so noisy, I saw everyone hugging each other and telling about his holidays, how everything was and stuff like that. I catched Jesse's brother in the corner of my eye, my biggest enemie.
''Jesse, I told you to not hang out with that chick. I mean look at her, at you insane?'' He almost yelled, grabbing Jesse's arm and pulling him away. I felt the tears burning in my eyes. It's the first school day and he's already starting..
