Chan, Hyunjin and Jeongin left soon after they had given Minho his homework. He continued watching tv as Jisung prepared some food.
Jisung got back to the living room with two bowls in his hands. He sat down beside the older and handed him the other bowl.
"Cereal at 7pm?"
"Yes."
Minho chuckled. He loved when Jisung did things like this. They'd go take a swim at 3am or play catch when it's raining. It was sweet, and even though there was no reason to do it, and it's actually pretty weird, it was their thing. Just like painting and stargazing.
"Minho?"
"Mmhm?" Minho replied, his mouth stuffed with lucky charms.
"What are you gonna do when you get home?"
"What do you mean?"
"What if your dad's still mad at you? What if he hits you again?" Jisung looked down, the happy and innocent aura faded.
"I don't know. Maybe I can stay at Felix's for a while."
"You can stay here! It's just... you haven't been home for a while." Jisung pouted.
Minho scooted closer to Jisung and laid his head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about it."
"You always say that." Jisung said quietly. But Minho heard.
"I say that because I don't want you to stress about my problems."
"But isn't that what I'm supposed to do? I'm your friend and I care about you. I don't want anything to happen to you."
Minho stroked Jisung's cheek with his hand. "I don't want you to worry because I know I'll be fine. I've got you. And honestly I don't care what my parents say when I come home. Because I know I'll come back to you wether I'm allowed or not."
Jisung placed his bowl on the coffee table and hugged Minho tight.

The next morning Minho prepared for school at Jisung's place. The younger never woke up this early, so he was still sleeping.Minho finished all the homework Jeongin had given him, but didn't have any of his books on him. He didn't give even a tiny rats ass.
He went upstairs one more time before leaving to kiss Jisung on the forehead, softly. So he wouldn't wake him up.
His school was very close to Jisung's house, people even knew about Jisung. They called him 'the homeboy' because people always see him inside through a window. But he was never spotted outside.
Nobody knew Minho's friends with the so-called homeboy. And Minho rather had it that way. He already got too much attention from his classmates in his opinion.
His school day went as usual. Nobody really asked where he had been these past days, thanks to his friends saying he was sick.
But then Minho had to go home. The sun was shining bright but it was storming in his head. He was scared to face his parents. But he couldn't hide with Jisung forever.
He gulped as he unlocked the front door.
