"In today's international news, one of the world's top ten most wanted has been announced dead — Max Destin, a young woman wanted for crimes both here in the states and around the world, was killed in an explosion in Doha, Qatar. FBI agent Ellis Winston was in the city when the incident took place. Agent Winston was in pursuit of Destin at the time, though he did not witness the explosion that killed her. He was quoted as saying that it was "Tragic that Destin could not have lived to see justice."

"The explosion that took Destin's life also killed three others, whom have since been identified as civilians; innocent bystanders. One of the civilians was pronounced dead on the scene, while Destin and two others were airlifted to the nearest hospital in an effort to save their lives. Sadly, all three were pronounced dead within minutes of arriving at the hospital.

"While all loss of life is most certainly tragic, it may be safe to say that the world will be safer in Destin's absence ..."

Word of Max's death spread like wildfire. Even before news segments were being broadcasted, the death of the legend was being whispered in back alleys and private meetings around the world.

Could it be true?

Was Max Destin actually gone?

It certainly seemed so ...

Some criminals felt it was too good to be true, and were not willing to believe it, no matter whose mouth uttered the words. Time reveals all sooner or later; in the world that Destin was a part of, that was just a matter of fact. Time would tell.

Still, not everyone was biding time and waiting to learn the truth. Some were all too thrilled at the passing of the menace known as Max Destin; she was the young woman who had stopped human trafficking rings and drug cartels, terrorist attacks and corrupt intelligence operatives — she had struck fear into the heart of many a villain in her living years, and while some had suffered permanent consequences when she caught up with them, not all had.

"It may be safe to say that the world will be safer in Destin's absence ..."

They couldn't have been more wrong.
