Jeff looked away bashfully with a grumpy expression.

This entranced the being as he croaked, "could it be that you're the one Jeff was concerned about? You both mentioned a music box" he stroked his chin as he wandered ahead. You skipped behind him to keep up with him and Jeff grunted as he continued behind. He was quietly obeying which was amusing to you. The tall created hummed as he trodded into the darkness ahead, digging into the depts of his memories. "Do you know if it was blue or red?" he smirked. This had you confused. The box? It was brown. Neither.

Jeff interrupted your thoughts, "The rose" he gestured to you. Ah. The rose on the box. It was red. As red as blood. As red as a solicitor's lipstick. "It was red. Why?" he began to chuckle obnoxiously. Did he know? He spun round effortlessly like an ice skater and watched you with a grin. "I only gave away one box with a red rose. How sweet she was" he blew his smoke into Jeff's face and fixed his collar. Jeff was unamused with the constant back and forth conversation. He wanted him to just spit it out so he grabbed his knife and held it offensively, "Don't keep us waiting" you looked at him pitifully as you waited for the outcome. Threatening him won't make him answer quickly you douche!

O. S. Stroked a rose that was in his cloak, also a red one, and began, "well. I met this woman in the usual way. She was depressed. Standing on the edge of a bridge over a violent river waiting for the right time to take her life. I saw her beauty and came to speak to her. I thought, if she was going to end her life... Why not end it in bliss?" he plucked a petal from the rose. When it fell to the ground it quickly withered and turned black. It was quite upsetting to hear her attempting suicide. Judging by his description, she was quite young too.

He looked at Jeff who lowered his weapon slowly and leant against the doorway, "we met and I guided her away from the bridge quite easily. It was obvious she wouldn't have jumped. I decided to spend my evening with her. I asked her, which rose would you like? The blue rose or the red? And she chose..." his voice went quiet as he expected you to finish it. You didn't because you was uncomfortable hearing about your grandmother's encounter with a sex offender so you just looked at him. He pulled out the box your grandmother had somehow and you were so shocked you jumped back in surprise, "she chose red. Which means I was able to give her pleasure throughout the night" he caressed the box with his slender fingers.

You interrupted his explanation quickly, "I don't want to know the details of that night!" you held out your hands frantically as your face went red. Jeff watched with an amused look. O. S. Nodded as he walked into the hallway with he two of you, "the thing is... Everyone I encountered was scared of death. She was not. She was special. She taight me a valuable life lesson, not that I didn't know it already, cherish life whilst it lasts. But if your end is near, don't fear it. Walk with it and become the person you want to be. So I decided to save her and give her a gift. This" he held the box confidently in his giant palm. Feeling upset, you grabbed the box and clutched to it defensively.

Jeff huffed and sneered, "if that's all it takes to move you, where's my box?" you looked at him clearly annoyed. O. S. Walked over to the adolescent and pinned him to the wall, "if you wanna be my bitch, sure" you were shocked and got embarrassed. Jeff went to stab him when he jumped back and sniggered, "you're not my type. I have standards. I don't like emo kids" he growled as he clutched to the knife. You held Jeff's hand and took the weapon from his grasp and looked at him with a concerned look.

He calmed down which made you feel relieved. What would have happened if he had gone ballistic?? "what's inside the box?" you asked sternly, knowing he responds to confidence. Silence followed as he itched his scalp. Might he not know? How could that be? He made it! "Just a white rose and a key chain of a tree" he shrugged. Is that it?! You frowned as he opened the box and presented just as he described. Perhaps she was grateful that he saved her? That's no fun at all... Again, throughout your time in this mansion you thought you heard voices in the distance, and you just heard it again. You clocked your head into the direction it came from. "ignore them. You should go. You got what you wanted and you're not exactly free" he grabbed us with his tentacles and threw us out from a nearby window!

Whilst falling, Jeff grabbed you and turned you round so he would fall first and so he did. You landed on him and he protected you. Why did he say you're no one special when he clearly wants to keep you safe? "Jeff?" you quickly climbed off from him and helped him up, he acted like nothing happened and stuck his middle finger up at the house, "Fuck them. Let's return. They're going to be mad." he watched you grumpily. The childish look of him sulking made you chuckle as he looked like a child throwing a tantrum. "Thank you Jeff" you hopped along into the woods with him and you both walked beside each other, not saying a word until you returned.

At the entrance, stood Slenderman with folded arms and a puffed chest. You could physically see the shadows growing underneath his feet as the two of you bowed your heads...
