Aidan's POV

Her parents left the restaurant and followed the ambulance to the hospital.

I called an Uber to take me to the hospital so I could see her. The Uber dropped me off at the entrance and I walked inside.

I saw her parents in the waiting room and decided to walk over to them.

"How is she?" I asked looking at them.

Her mother smiled. "She's okay. She is in surgery right now, but she should be out soon."

I sat down in a chair across from them. I started thinking about what had happened.

What caused it? Why didn't I help her?

I was angry with myself for not trying to catch or save her from falling. I started to wondering her parents were angry with me for not doing something. My emotions were all over the place.

"You can come see her now." I heard her mother say as I awoke from a small nap.

I smiled and rubbed my eyes. I then got up and followed behind her.

She led me to Maela's room. When I walked into the small hospital room I saw her lying awake in the bed.

I smiled and moved to the side of her bed.

"How are you?" I asked her with a small smile on my face.

"I'm doing better" She said. "Now that you're here." I could hear the weakness I her voice.

She moved over a little and patted the spot next to her signaling for me to sit next to her. I did so. She laid her head onto my shoulder and smiled gently.

I smiled and leaned my head next to hers.

Her parents quietly left the room to give us alone time.

I was so happy that she was okay. Being with her cleared all of the other thoughts in my mind.

I could tell she was getting tired. "Why don't you go to sleep." I suggested to her.

She smiled and snuggled into me putting her arms around me. Then she started to fall asleep.

Shortly after she was asleep I started to get it's so I fell asleep with her.

Maela's POV

I woke up and noticed that Aidan was still here. He was asleep. I decided to turn on the tv and watch a movie.

Awhile after watching the movie he woke up. I looked at him and smiled. "Hi sleepy."

He lightly chuckled. "I guess I was pretty tired."

"Yea I guess you were." I said.

He looked at me. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?"

"I'm doing better, but still not the greatest. I still feel a bit nauseous."

Aidan wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. "I'll be here." He smiled, "Anything you need I'll be here."

A/N: 1. Sorry this is short. 2. Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile. I got busy with finals at school and then I kinda forgot all about writing this. I'm gonna try my best to start writing it again.
