Aidan's POV
"Oh yea. Shit. I was so worried about you I forgot about it." I said looking at her.
She smiled. "It's okay. I'm gonna go get ready so that we can go." She turned around before I could say anything and ran back upstairs.
I turned around and saw Jack standing behind me. "Make sure that you watch out for her tonight. She's been dreaming of this day for like ever. So make sure she doesn't get to excited and if she does calm her down as much as you can."
I nodded. "I will. But I don't know if she will be able to handle meeting her."
"I guess we'll just have to wait and find out." Jack sighed.
I walked into the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Jack followed behind me and sat in a barstool at the island.
I grabbed the glass of water and sat beside him.
——
Maela's POV
I ran up the stairs and into my bathroom. Took a shower, then walked into my room and picked out an outfit. I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror.
I sighed and went back into the bathroom. I did some light, simple makeup and curled my hair.
I walked back downstairs and into the kitchen where Jack and Aidan were sitting at the island talking.
Aidan turned around and saw me standing there. His eyes widened. "You look beautiful."
I smiled and felt myself blush a little. "Thank you." I sat down next to them.
Aidan turned so that he was facing me completely. "We have one last surprise for you." He pulled out two badges that read 'VIP meet and greet'.
I looked at them and then back to Aidan. "Are those real?" He nodded. I couldn't believe it.
I was so happy I screamed. He put his hands on my shoulders. "Settle down Maela. Settle down." I could tell he was worried so I stopped.
"Sorry. I'm just really happy." I smiled wide.
"It's okay. But you are going to need to learn to control your excitement."
I nodded. "I will. It's gonna take me some time, but I will learn."
"I will help you to learn, so will Jack and your parents. We are all here to help you." Aidan said with a small smile on his face.
"Who said I was helping," Jack said jokingly. I'd rather play Fortnite."
Aidan punched his arm. "I did. And Fortnite, really?"
Jack opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off. "Aidan. We better get going to the concert before we're late."
He nodded and stood up grabbing the badges and replacing them in his pocket.
I got up and we waved 'goodbye' to Jack, then left the house and got into Aidan's car.
——
I was holding up two hoodies. One was black and the other a neon green. Both being similar to the ones at Hot Topic, but these had all the tour dates on the back of them.
"I like the neon green one," Aidan said. "It stands out more."
I nodded and turned around to go pay for it when Aidan grabbed my wrist and grabbed the hoodie from me.
"I'm paying for everything tonight and you can't do anything about it."
I rolled my eyes. "If you say so."
He payed for the hoodie and handed it to me. I put it on over the shirt that I was wearing. It was a bit big, but I liked my hoodies that way.
He smiled at me. "Are you ready to go to our seats?" he asked. I nodded and we started walking.
We reached where our seats were and I looked up. They were in the front row right near the stage where Billie would be performing.
I turned to Aidan with a huge smile on my face. "How did you manage to-" he cut me off by saying. "I have my ways."
——
Billie was on stage performing. The whole crowd singing along with her. I was belting out the lyrics to the song without a care in the world. Aidan stood next to me smiling at how happy I was.
It was the final song. I started to think about meeting her. What was I gonna say? Would I be awkward? I ignored those thoughts and sang along to the song.
Billie finished the final song. Said goodbye to the fans and exited the stage.
The thoughts about meeting her started coming back to me. Aidan looked at me and saw a worried look on my face. "Is everything okay?" He asked
"Yea. I'm just nervous to meet her. That's all."
"It's going to be great. Don't be nervous." He assured me.
I nodded and smiles softly. "Can we go to meet her now." I asked starting to get a little impatient.
"Yep." Is all I allowed him say before I took off walking. He ran after me to catch up.
We reached the line of the meet and greet. Both of us a bit out of breath from waking to quick to get here. There was quite a bit of people waiting in front of us, but I could see the front of the line.
It was about to be our turn to meet her. My thoughts were running through my head. I started to get nervous, but yet at the same time I felt myself get really excited.
I remembered what Aidan had said about controlling my excitement. I tried my best to settle myself down so he wouldn't notice it.
It became our turn. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I felt my heart beat fasten. I tried stopping it. But I couldn't. I turned to Aidan as quick as I could.
He quickly looked at me. "I think I'm going to-" before I could say anything else everything went black.
A/N: sorry this chapter sucks. I had an idea in my head but didn't really know how I wanted to write it. Let me know your thoughts on this book. 💞
